Feeling Lost On List Building

Hi fellow warriors,

i would like to start building my list primarily to promote affiliate products but feel lost on where to start. I have spent the whole of yesterday doing research on Google and Youtube but can't find exactly the informations that i'm looking for.

Hope the warriors here can enlighten me on:

1) I want to promote a JVZOO product as an affiliate. I create a squeeze/landing page for that particular product and offer something in exchange for their email address. Once they subscribe, they will automatically be directed to the product's sale funnel. Is that the correct way to do it?

2) If i were to have my own blog, how can i use a squeeze page? My homepage will have my blogpost. So where do i put the squeeze page?

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

You will want to create a Freebie Funnel to garner subscriptions. Offer something you have written or if you don't have something yet offer a PLR product.

You can have a single funnel for this affiliate program.

For your blog create another squeeze page only promoting your freebie. Send the freebie through the autoresponder (linking.) Be sure you let the subscribers know more freebies are coming their way. use the list to offer good advice with offers at the bottom plus freebie days.

Keep them opening your emails. Don't get on a specific schedule or they will only open your freebie offers. Mix it up so they open all of them.

Promote the blog funnel from all the pages using a widget on your pages.

    Hi,

Just offer some valuable free advice through eBook in exchange of their email address. Just tease your readers in the ebook with the offer you are going to promote.

Suppose, if you are trying to promote a make money online product means,

Tease them by saying, some xxxx product is helping me make money online and many of my readers are using it for their main source of income and also you can say like it offers some unique methods which help you make money online.

And atlast give them your affiliate link in the ebook.

All you need is to build relationship with your list. Don't send offers always, try to send some piece of information freely, so that your readers will trust you.

I believe all of the responses here are pretty helpful. I will say you need to test whatever method you decide on and use what works best. A lot of this is testing and then scaling everything up.

    Good luck!

    1) Yeah you can redirect them directly to the products page. This will act as your one time offer.

    2) On a blog you don't put the squeeze page. You either have an optin form on the sidebar, below your post, etc that lets people subscribe directly to your list. Or, you can have some type of image that people when they click on it redirects them to the squeeze page.
