How Do You Get Emails of New Businesses?

I have noticed that every time I purchase a new domain from godaddy that I seem to get emails from SEO and web design companies offering their services.

This leads me to believe that godaddy is selling this info.

I am starting up an seo company and would like to focus on marketing to new businesses and was wondering if anyone out there knows how I might go about obtaining such a list?

thanks in advance for your help.

  • There are services that provide this type of information for a fee.

    Similar to this:

Prices go up when whois data is included.

The challenge is that you don't have prior email optins from these companies, therefore you are soliciting,
and some people are very protective of their newly registered email address.
Be prepared to get some not so nice feedback if emailing them.

It's like a newborn baby. You don't want to walk by a new 1 week old baby in a stroller on the street,
and grab it, and cuddle it, without knowing the parent. Mom or dad will probably kick you in the nuts.

I get tons of these types of emails, and therefore have SEO, webdesign, and other keywords and phrases forwarded to the same garbage bin filled with Viagra and "P" enlargement deals.

I think Godaddy itself provides SEO and design services so what you're seeing may simply be Godaddy upsells . . . for which they are notorious.

      Hi Todd,

I know each city has new business organizations to help startups. Try there. You can also look for online sites that cater to those needing business lists. Here is one for example https://www.infousa.com/product/new-business-list/. You can get lists by industry which is even more beneficial. Not sure who exactly you're targeting. But just do a google search on "new business listings" and you'll turn up a bunch of sites just like the one I mentioned.
