Well you're not going to get solo ads for little to no money down.

Forums, blog commenting, guest posting, and spamming up social groups to your landing page is the best way to grow it for free. You're going to trade either time or money to grow it, though. Solo ads cost $$$

Right now, posting videos on YouTube is one of your best free options for growing your list.
Be sure to put your squeeze page URL in the description below your video, and remind people in the video to go to your squeeze page.

If you can afford 5 bucks once in a while, hire somebody on Fiverr to distribute your videos to YouTube, DailyMotion, Vimeo and other video sharing sites. Or, do it yourself if you have the time.

Blog commenting, forum posting, free classifed ads on Backpage, CL, UsFreeAds, USA Free Classifieds Ads - Apartments Help Wanted Ads Personals Autos For Sale Events - Buy or Sell anything For Free and other free ad sites, Twitter, Facebook, etc. are also good options.

Honestly the fastest way I know is to create a lead magnet, something free to give away. Make a squeeze page where people sign up to get that lead magnet, and then buy a few solo ads.

Solo ad prices vary, so shop around and read reviews. There are free ways to advertise your squeeze page, but these are not usually as effective as a solo ad. If you want some suggestions for solo ad providers, pm me and I'll give you some names. I have a few that I've used and liked.

Your first step should have been to ask yourself why you're building a list. If it's to establish a relationship with and ultimately to generate the maximum return from each subscriber, forget about speed and concentrate on the quality of your sign-ups.

Ask them what is so important that they'd share it with their friends

Use your existing user base as a STARTING BASE to make your list PROLIFERATE

whatever traffic source you are using, make sure you track everything to see how your visitors react to your lander, offers, emails, freebies etc....

Solo ads are a clever way of climbing up the ladder fast...but then again they are not free.

Create a WSO.

Give it a way for cheap. I mean, a dimesale, $3 or something like that.

Thay way you build a list of not just those who are interested but those who have the potential. Think. Anyone who has the potential to pay $3 can also pay $50 if you show them the value.

Build your list from this.

Building your list will ultimately cost you either money or time, I will recommend you use both, although Solo ads are great but you can also try commenting on forums, blog posts, youtube video marketing, Facebook ads, Bing ads or Google Adwords, just remember to track. Solo ads are not dirt cheap nowadays, at least not the ones that are really good quality, don't fall for 20 cent click solo ads, if you want to build a quality list, you will have to invest, that's the only way man

PPC is the best (fastest) method, of course you must be able to get targetted traffic spending not more than few cent/click!

you must choose keyword as a sniper and test a lot your ads!

A good way to start building your list with a small number of subscribers would be clickbanking. You basically exchange clicks with other list owners, but this method is going to be really slow at first, before you build momentum.

He wrote, that he had must spend good $600 bucks to get only 2ooo fans!

He has about 100K facebook followers, but only 3-5% of them subscribe to his email list.
So he make around $2000/ month with these 3-5000 subscribers.

When I do the math when this is a realistic number, so I need to spend good $30.000 to get these 100.000 followers???

And then only 3-5000 people from the followers subscribe into my email list.

So I have to spend around $30.000 to get these numbers of followers and email subscribers?

Who of you people have that sum of money? Only entrepreneurs with $30.000 own equity capital or who have get a bank credit line.

So when I read this article it is not so realistic to build a huge list from facebook from nothing, scratch?

My god when I read such things that you must post 1-2 times daily on facebook to increase.......
so many people forget that is a huge investment;

to buy 1-2 times daily images/ written content 5 times a week.....
and to buy good content for send newsletters to subscribers.....

I only read; buy this, buy, buy , buy and buy another thing and so on....

I will make money not doing "Buying things" or do "Investing" all the time.

to write to bigger online ezine's I not sure that an $25 well written content is enough to get into as an author? So yes there I have budget to do this som months to build list.

With facebook it will cost little bit more I must build fans first
(or use a good recommend service for that)

Glen on ViperChill, wrotes he had make good money with facebook PPC advertising without have a list and there are marketers who make it in the $10-15.000/month range with that concept. He wrote a 200 subs facebook list had not make money for him.

I have hear that get fb like fans into subscribers there is a low rate about 5% or so, is that right? So I need huge huge fans to build a huge huge list......(to build a real business).

So, is this a good concept to make money in facebook with PPC advertising direct to affiliate products or with Dating niche?

Or is it all times better and get better conversion rate to build a facebook list?

There are definitely some great suggestions in here. I think that there have been plenty of great traffic sources mentioned already...

The only thing I would add is about your philosophy getting into the business you want to be in. Instead of looking at it as money lost, look at it as an investment into your business assets.

Your list will become your greatest asset, and you need to understand the lifetime value of a subscriber on your list. Example: If you're paying .50 cent a click and pulling a 40% optin to your landing page, then you're paying $50 per every 40 subscribers, right... which is $1.25 per lead.

But if the average subscriber on your list has a lifetime value of $2, then you're in profit as you build your list. You need to remember that getting the lead is a one-time investment that could pay you over and over again.

Also, you can try putting a funnel together that has a front end sale to try covering some of the cost of your clicks. You can still give away a free lead magnet, but you need to optimize your sequence to make money on the front end and back end, then you may be investing into your traffic but mitigating the cost with a product of some type.

Solo ads and adswaps are good, but the subscribers you'll get from it are freebie seekers and want everything free, free, free.

Try forum marketing, YouTube videos, blogging, etc.

Here's an idea, take the 35 you have already and create such a great relationship with them, that those 35 will be far more profitable than the 100's of useless leads you could get from Udimi.

If you want to build your business you should be investing in marketing and building your list.

Sure solo ads are good for example.

Definitely create a lead magnet to capture leads so you are building your list.

Your business is a long term strategy and building your list should be that. You have to invest money in attracting the right people to you. You don't want freebie people you want the right target market.

Perhaps too you can contact list owners in your niche and provide some sort of offer to them where you can provide value to them... perhaps a joint venture... think outside the box.

Most interesting part is to get started with the free ebook or pdf which is very valuable.. Sharing them in viral sites and giving them the bonus for everytime they share it..

That can increase your list virally.

I will never understand why people are so intent on NOT spending money to grow their BUSINESS. If it were a 'Bricks and Mortar' business, would there be any question of paying for advertising for leads? If Money is really an issue then start small and reinvest any profits into the business (list building) until you have a good enough turn-over to start drawing a "salary" out of it. Just my 2 cents worth (see-even that aint free ).

Create a product and let affiliates promote it for you.

Add an exit pop (some affiliates don't like this, others don't care).

Write a guest post.

Create a tribe of follower on Social Media (I've seen this lots in the fitness world).

Write Kindle eBooks.

Buy traffic.

What am I doing? In a variety of different niches I have Kindle books, I'm buying traffic, I have a few affiliate sites that rank quite well and I'm going to try a few things with Facebook #latetotheparty
