set up your follow ups in your mailchimp account...

you can do so by simply using their follow up email facility, just like you set up things with aweber..

ok I created a confirnation "thank you" page and designed it the wzy I want it, how do I send it off to people who join the list?
I dont see a way to activate it, and ive never used aweber

Are you using the free version or the paid version There's autoresponder for the free

Maybe try GetResponse? On their website http://getresponse.com you can find free trial version for a month!

The automation feature is only in the paid version. It's highly worth it

To do this automatically you need to be a paid MailChimp user.

Or set it up as part of your signup process:

Goto: Lists > your list > Signup Forms > General Forms > Forms and response emails > Signup "thank you" page, or final "welcome email" and add your content there.

You can also do this manually by creating and sending a campaign to all your current users with that template. Then replicate the campaign and in the Recipients section, select Send to a group or new segment. Then select Campaign Activity, was not sent , then select the campaign. If you do this once a week you can keep your new subscribers upto date.
