In the weight loss market?

What is the best kind of ads and what are the best networks for them.

By the best I mean the cheapest and the most targeted.

Facebook would be a great way because cheaper clicks compared to google, can target exactly who and what you want and even their interests in weight loss groups and more...

I would have to concur that FB ads (PPC) is a great medium to use. Relatively cheap and using their advertising platform you can target your audience so well

He's right. Use Facebook ads to get as targeted
and as cost efficient as possible. It won't take you
long to set one up, and chances are it will be
approved within a couple of hours.

Don't hesitate to be very particular while choosing
your audience. Even consider the age groups that
would be more prone to easily receive weight loss info.

Either Adwords or Facebook targeted ads that go to a lead magnet.

Or, my preferred approach, contact people in your surrounding market and work out a deal for them to do some mailings for you.

I am currently working for client in email list business. Using Google Adwords search, I have managed to get some cheap emails, just be creative.

All you need is Great landing page,eBook and some budget for testing.

    Process goes this way:
    1. Make some eBook regarding subject
    2. Build great landing page, do some A/B testing.
    3. Get some cheap Google Adwords clicks, related to the subject.
    4. Optimize.

I think FB ads, Google and Bing would be the best source honestly. I believe there are some solo ad sellers on udimi for that Niche as well but I have never used them. If you are not familiar with running campaigns I would suggest trying to get some kind of training to help you out.

    Good luck!

Steer clear of Udimi. You'll get what looks like clicks and opt-ins, but most likely none of those will be sales or profitable.

That fact that you want cheap tells me you're going to fail straight out the gate.

For GOOD traffic, it has to be paid for. The weight loss market is very competitive.

The question you should be asking is HOW can pay more than everyone else for traffic.

Then you're competition won't be able to keep up.

Build a DEEP funnel and know your life time value per customer.

For solo ads you can try Clickonomy. They have a bunch of sellers for the weight loss niche. And all of their reviews look very positive.

I called out Udimi on a forum of theirs about how the business is run and only in it for the money, they quickly shut me up after people started agreeing with what I said. They also deleted my post and others as well. So it's obvious they are only looking to take advantage of unknowing customer of how their business is ran.

Sellers will refund you your money if you revoke a bad review.

As for "high conversion rates"...... those are a joke.

They could be 100% for all I care, but if not one of those leads buy anything they are worthless.

So take your so-called "high conversion rates" and get out of town.

I saw that go down, I was one of the many agreeing with you. Udimi and it's sellers are behaving very badly these days.

I was able to get some of my money back. I had money that was refunded to me by a seller because she wanted a bad review removed. As much as I wanted my bad review for others to see, I also wanted my money back. I had about $115 USD in my account and opened a dispute with Udimi through PayPal, after some back and forth, I was able to get back my $115USD.

So once again, I would recommend people to stay far away from Udimi. As for the people praising it on here, do a little research and you'll see they are affiliated with Udimi. That's my honest review of Udimi.

Probably guest blogging - find someone in your niche who runs a successful blog and have them interview you over say 2 or 3 parts and then in each interview try a different interviewing style so you can find out what suits you best on camerafor split testing on you conversions.

The majority of high traffic blogs would be better of taking your fee than any income that they make elsewhere (adsense, CPA, PPC etc)

Just a thought from what I've learned... Be careful advertising on FB... they are very strict about claims for weight loss and typically reject blatant weight loss ads. They have been known to shut down accounts completely.

However, if you approach it from a "healthy body" perspective you will be safer. In my experience, until your page is established, you will pay around $1 per engagement. My ads (different niche) are now down to a penny per engagement.

Before you commit to ads on FB, research your FB competition very carefully, see what they're doing.
As somebody said above - it's highly competitive.

Also another thing with Udimi is there are a lot of sellers which don't match the standard 75%+ Tier 1 but they still charge .40 cents + per click.

My experience with Udimi has been horrible. I have a rolodex with over 100 proven sellers from Facebook, WF, and Skype that I always get great results with.

I decided to try Udimi and see what the deal was there so I bought 10 solos from different vendors. I did not get a positive ROI on any of them and the opt-in rates were considerably lower than I am used to getting with my normal sellers.

I only tried them because I saw that the prices were somewhat cheaper. Bad idea. I have quickly learned that you get what you pay for when it comes to solo ads.

This comes from experience in getting traffic for my weight loss funnel.

You must pay for Traffic and stick to one traffic strategy when starting out.

The best way to find paid traffic for weight loss is to model after someone that has a successful weight loss site Example(fitness, Yoga bodybuilding). or get someone to mentor you is a fast track to success.

But most likely its not about traffic. It's about how well your landing page converts and brakes even with paid traffic. you want to create a productive circle simple business planning can help.

Most people think they have a traffic problem. In list building it's simple, but has a lot of moving parts that most people don't see.

    Hope this helped

For List building best traffic sources are,

    1. Quality solo ads
    2. PPC
    3. Media buying
    4. PPV

For solo ads try udimi, adswaps, solo ad testimonial fb groups etc

For PPC google and fb with re targeting will work greate

For media buying try your niche blogs and forums

And for PPV try Lead Impact, Trafficvance, 50onRed, AdOnNetwork etc...

I've heard mixed reviews of udimi.

There's a couple of facebook groups where people sell solos but you will have to do your research on them. MAny are legit, some are not, and others are beginners.

I ran a few FB a ds and I got some optins, but I wanted something a little quicker so I'm ordering solos this week for faster results. I am paying nearly 50 cents a click but I know this person provides awesome leads. It will pay off in the long run
