Help- I have 3 weeks to grow my email list by 75k people or else.

So I just came into my job as marketing director and my boss just told me I have 3 weeks to gain 75k emails. It took a year to get to 15k emails which is where I am now. This is insane.

With every marketing email we send out we are having about 150-200 people unsubscribe. I am only pulling in about 100 a week so I am constantly losing people. I am giving away free e-books, products, anything to get people to sign up.

I am going to try email sharing next. I am going to pump ads leading to free e-books.

I need any ideas or help I can get here.

    how are you getting traffic? if you need 75K in 3 weeks. you going to have to pay for it.

    Its not a big deal to make a list of 75K people in 15 days. It hard but not impossible. For this first let me know which auto responder you are using?

    create some landing pages with interesting stuff and offers and focus on promotion on facebook and social medias. and you should have some offers for promoters to promote your sales page. In this way you will get maximum result by less efforts. You can say that by using Network Marketing strategies you can achieve this goal.

    Solution in points:
    1- Create about 10-15 landing pages with good stuff and offers.
    2- Promote all landing pages with different social networks
    3- Promote offers for those who will promote your offers
    4- follow up your leads on daily basis and send them offers too for increasing the list.

    Apparently the way to get around this is to buy traffic from some source provided you know that:

    " What percentage of that traffic converts for a specified amount of money. "
    Once you know your numbers, scale it up fast.

    "With every marketing email we send out we are having about 150-200 people unsubscribe.... "

    You also need to figure out how will you minimize the unsubscribe rate.
    Even if you would manage to get 75k people, you will lose subscribers again in the long run.
    Put a stop to those bucket holes

    As others have mentioned, paid traffic is probably the only reliable option if you want to build a list fast. Sure, you can try social media - but it's not traffic "on tap" like paid source.

    But what's your budget? Even if you could get opt-ins for $0.50 with a target demographic that's large enough...that's still going to cost $37,500. Not a huge amount - but you've got to know that the subscribers are going to be profitable in the long-run.

    Not to mention that getting high-quality opt-ins for that rate is VERY difficult without continuous optimisation (which takes time).

    imho in your case it cannot be done.

    The reason is obvious. First, you don't have an infrastructure to pull those numbers. Otherwise you would reach 75K long ago.

    Second, what is your budget? I assume it is small one because 100 subscribers a week is really low number of subscribers. For organizations that it.

    Your manager is being unreasonable and have no clue how ridiculous his request is. Those numbers will not come out of nowhere in a vacuum.

    You might want to reconsider working there. Or talk to him and explain why it impossible and what you need to make it work.

    You don't need a miracle.

    You need a proper budget.

    You can get a 1.000.000 list in one week (in theory) with a big enough budget.

    The problem arises if you have a budget that is not big enough to support such a growth, even with some really, really, really creative marketing techniques.

    Here's what I would do

    1) Hire an ebook writer to create a great attention-grabbing report on your niche's MAIN PROBLEMS

    2) The book would have links that go to your squeeze page

    3) The squeeze page offers an Autoresponder-based seminar dealing with the PROBLEMS your book focuses on

    4) Hire a VA to find tons of free document upload sites and get tons of keywords/tags and upload them to those sites

    5) Go on Fiverr and get cheap videos done and get your VA to upload them targeting different keywords

    Make sure the descriptions go to different free upload sites' urls of your book

    Total budget: Less than $100

    Total time: Less than 1 week

    Bonus: Get content off Fiverr and instruct your VA to contact blogs in your niche to pitch those pieces of content as GUEST POSTS

    Total budget: $50
