Recommended non-IM niche email marketing service?

I'm looking for an email marketing company for my client as he has about 3k-4k email list in parenting niche. He needs to import them and I will be providing the service of creating the autoresponders, landing page, etc for him.

I can choose Aweber or GetResponse but I think they are mainly used for Internet Marketing niche. (Stereotypical, isn't it )

Is there other recommended companies that are not really overused by IM niche and are good for non-IM niche? I can think of MailChimp and VerticalResponse but I'm looking to research a few more so if you have used any other companies for your client, please recommend.

    Seems like your way over thinking this.

    I use many autoresponders...aweber, getresponse, constant contact, etc, etc... and I send nothing in the IM niche. I'm sure that they have tons of customers that aren't in the IM niche!!!

    Pretty much all offer some form of a free trial. Test them out and see which works best for you.

    i never use Aweber yet... but i think you can test it out for GetResponse.. they do have 24 hours chat support when you need anything...

    Yes AW and GR are used for many other niches than biz opp, actually most their clients are probably not even in I.M niche!
    You need a service which will allow you to upload the mails, most only let you collect emails and mail, but not actually upload mails.

    It doesnt matter which one you use. You mentioned VR AW MC and GR... They are all good for a small 4k list. Its just about personal pref... I use and love MC!!
