30% Open Rate?

two questions:

1. Do you consider a 30% open and click through rate good?

2. How would you increase this rate? (focus on headlines?)

    It depends on many factors, like list size, market you´re in etc. However, the question should always be: Am I profitable? If you´re profitable and making good money - 30% open rate and CTR are great. If you´re losing money, 30% are not enough.

    How to increase the rates is also difficult to answer, since I don´t know what you are doing so far and where there might be potential to improve. But generally, yes, headlines play an important role. Even more important is, IMO, the relationship you have with your list.

    But once again: focus primarily on profitability, that´s the metric that really matters :-)

    30% is good. Given that your stats do not account for 20% to 40% of opens on platforms that do not support javascript or image displays.

    30% is only what you see, the reality is likely closer to 40-45%.

    depends on how many people your sending to

    strong subject lines
    relevant content with some personality to give you some distinction

    if the lead source is good (i recommend ppc, no solo ads) then that should do the trick

    to increase the rate... headline is part of it...another main is your content of your email... need to attract your subscribers to view ur content...

    It all depends upon your emailing list.... 30% is considered to be an excellent open rate if your list is single Op-tin....
