email marketing software without double opt in

Hi there

I currently use MailChimp but this has double opt in. I know you can get around it if you import emails manually but I have a landing page which people sign up on and I want them to get the auto-responder right away without having to re-confirm their email.

Can anyone advise me on an email marketing tool that doesn't require this extra layer of verification?

Many thanks

James

Two of the most popular are aweber and getresponse and neither requires double optin. I have yet to use mailchimp, but am surprised that they mandate it be used. Most autoresponders services theses days don't.

Go self hosted. Use something like Sendy and Amazon SES or an SMTP service. You can then have much better control over your email list. No double opt-in needed when you go self hosted.

Getresponse works great with excellent support. You have the option to turn double opt-in on or off.

Aweber and Getresponse both supports single optin,

you can go ahead and create a free account and try it for 30 days

delivery rate is also better than any other autoresponders out there.

You can turn double optin off on getrespons and you don't need it for aweber imports. that said I think double opt in is a good idea.

      Hey James,
From my own experience, I would say it is paramount that you go with a Service that has the ability to utilize Single Optin.

Across the board , I have found with Single Optin you will earn substantial more in the long run than with Double Optin.

Some of the Services that have been mentioned already like Aweber are viable sources to pursue this

    Hi,

Many marketers face same dilema while switching their lists. Considering their problems, we have enabled import feature in our software. Your subscribers will not be required to re optin as they have already given you their consent. Just make sure you dont change your Pen Name as they recognize you with that.

Aweber and Getresponse doesn't require double opt-in. Plus Aweber is offering a free 30-day trial right now. You should check it out. Both companies are great services.

You can decide to lose the double opt in , but it's much better and there is more possibility that they won't unsubscribe if you stay with the double opt in. Even though you get more people because the threshold gets lower, you have to think about the costs that come with that.
