I want to send new version of my book to my clients. How to do it best???

Hello!

Few days ago I reviews and edited one of my books that I wrote several years ago. I was embarrassed to see how many grammar and semantic mistakes I've had in it.


I already have lots of clients who bought it (the old version), so I want to send them the new edited one.

Let me hear your suggestions on what is best to write them in email.

Something along the lines of: "Hey [Fist name] recently I've reviewed and edited the [book name] you purchased a while ago. Here I want to give you the new better version of it. Hope you enjoy reading it!

Cheers ".

Idk exactly how to best structure my email message so I maintain my good will and reputation at the same time.

I wonder should I give them something else for free as well. I've recently made a special FB group only for clients, so I'd give them access to it as well.

Let me hear your point on that...

    better dont use the word "edited"... sounds like you didnt make changes (content) on it...
    should be second edition... something like that..

    you can give them the first chapter of your new book for free, let them purchase the whole book in either hard copy or PDF copy

    say something like....

    "I just updated and improved my book titled XXXXX..

    whether it is free or not is based on your business plan...if you are trying to make your money off clients...then put a big price tag on it and give it to them.

    But like someone said, I would be very careful before giving more and more free stuff away...always be careful about training your people to expect free stuff...

    I would fix all the errors in it before sending it out.
    You can either do that yourself but if your English isn't that good, you could hire somebody to help you.

    How long ago was the other one sent out?

      It is different. I wrote it 3 years ago and I admit it I rushed to see what results it will have. It turned out people (not so many but still...) bought it. It is ebook pdf, but not in english, but in my native tongue.

      So I have people that have bought it 3 years ago. Since then my writing skills definitively improved and my vocabulary expanded.

      And finally the book went through another editor, so now is without any grammar and semantic mistakes.

      I haven't had anyone complain about the mistakes so far. Even some people bought other my books and products, but when I reviewed it I really knew I should make changes to it.

      So i'll stick with the advices you gave me here. If you want to share more - I'm all ears.

    You should hire professional QA expert before publish you book because it is not an easy job to fix all problems regarding book publication.
