Affodable, good quality autoresponder?

Hi warriors!
I have been using Aweber for years. I am happy with their services.
The only thing is that I am paying $69 per month (I have 9K subscribers) and I would like to know if there is a more affordable, but good quality alternative.
Thanks a lot!

    Have a look at ActiveCampaign.

I used Aweber for a couple years, no problems, but moved to AC this spring. Really great automation options.

Baby girl... if you're paying $69/month, with 9k subscribers.... your sales & profits should be high enough to pay the low $69/month fee that they have. Is your business NOT producing profits and money?

Yes, of course I am making profits but my niche is energy therapy and my market is in Spain and South America. The conversions are not as high as if I was marketing English speaking countries.
I am trying to reduce costs... that's all!

Then i would suggest creating an ebook or some other related info-product that can be a front runner for your energy therapy services.

Then after these customers buy the ebook, pitch them on your energy therapy services. After reading your ebook (or info-product) they should be able to see the benefits that energy therapy provides.

Tell me.... is energy therapy similar to crystal light therapy? I've had it once in Brazil... in Albadania. The power of quartz crystal is amazing, and i BELIEVE in it, along with chakra points..

I'm thinking people in USA wouldn't take such a healing service seriously. Some will, but not alot. All we have to do over here is take a pill, then go back to business as usual.

I've been emailing daily since 2011ish using Aweber, and haven't had a single hiccup.

    I love Aweber.

I've heard very good things about Active Campaign, and to be honest there's a massive list of new and upcoming autoresponders that are cheaper. (Active Campagn is expensive though).

There are cheaper alternatives, but I personally vouch for, and love Aweber.

Here are a few other alternatives:

ImnicaMail $26 per month for <= 10,000 subs)
    http://www.imnicamail.com/plans-pricing

Honest Mail $25 per month for <= 10,000 subs
    http://honestmail.net/index.php/plans-pricing

In Inbox $39 a month unlimited
    https://www.ininbox.com/pricing.html

I don't think you'll do much better than those, regarding the price.

Ask them for a free trial to test deliverability if interested?

    Good luck.

In order to go with an AR company that won't ban you for affiliate marketing and where you'll get all the same services, bells and whistles that you're used to go have a look at Get Response.

      At 9K subs you're at $45.

The reason I say this is, with a lot of the others that have been mentioned here you'll have to have double opt ins, or get banned for affiliate marketing or lose a lot of the features you're used to.

Wow! Thanks a lot for your answers, warriors!
This information will probably be enough but if you have any other suggestions, I would love you to put them here.
        Thanks!

You need to keep your subscriber list below 10,000 because once you hit 10,000 Aweber will jack up your monthly rate to about $150 or so. You can do this by reviewing your list and deleting inactive subscribers, undeliverable subscribers and Unsubscribed former subscribers (they may be unsubscribed from your list but Aweber does not officially delete them from your list until you manually delete them in case they change their mind and decide to rejoin. But I think they do this to just have an excuse to raise your rates).

      You must be kidding

"To make sure only quality content will be send from the INinbox platform, the INinbox INspired support will have to approve your broadcast before sending. This may take some extra time, but ensures your broadcasts will be of the highest quality possible."

You know what that means, don't you? ;-) Then...

When I tested INInbox, I also subscribed to their newsletter. Guess where their newsletters landed. In Gmail's spam folder. Most probably their newsletters were not checked by their experts. Or were they? ;-) Then...

Support... very big delays. Days, sometimes weeks needed for simple answers.

      I can continue, but...

I haven't tried this yet. But, your emails are sent via Amazon SES so it's worth to take a look at and do research re user feedback -- https://sendy.co/

Wow! Sendy lets you send up to 10,000 emails for $1, 20,000 for $2, and so on.
It looks like it's got all the features I need.
I will really look into it...
      Thanks a lot!!

Have you tried MadMimi? They have really good prices and the design is super convenient too. Sad thing is they don't accept IM niche but if you're working with other niches there won't be any problems!

They DO accept IM niche malings. I publish one of my IM newsletters via Mad Mimi since 2012

They don't accept some IM sub-niches. This kind of content - I'm quoting:

      • Work from home, make money on online, and lead generation opportunities
      • Multi-level marketing (MLM)
      • Affiliate marketing
      Adrian

P.S. “work from home” and “make money online" are very generic. If anyone is interested in finding what they understand by these two expressions, let me know. I've got their answer posted on one of my blogs.

I host my own with ARPreach. It takes sometime to maintain the good IP status, but it's the cheapest, most effective I have found.

I must say, that INinbox is a perfect option for Aweber, MailChimp, Getresponse and a lot others. What most impressed me with this autoresponder is the availability of features and its accessibility. Plus, it's affordable, you pay just $3.95 a month for up to 5000 contacts and send unlimited emails.

      1) INinbox is one of the worst email marketing services I have ever tested - poor customer support, pre-approval for ALL broadcasts (= delays), poor deliverability, badly mistreating their affiliates, etc.

      2) The price of $3.95 isn't valid anymore. It was modified 8 or 9 months ago.

      Adrian

P.S. That thing with "unlimited emails" isn't true anymore either. Check the pricing page and you'll see the limitations for each plan (up to 5k contacts and send 40k emails)

Thank you very much for recomending Madmini. So far, it the best I have found. I think I am going to switch to them. Much cheaper than Aweber and it's got the same features!
They also allow me to import subscribers without having to reconfirm.
        Thanks again!
