There are numerous email address confirmation administrations you can look at! BriteVerify is one that rings a bell. Furthermore, some email sending stages incorporate a cleaning highlight or some likeness thereof (at Clickback we do!) which is something to consider too.

Hi,

How big is your list? There are tools like Atomic Email Verifier or G-Lock email verifier, but they depend on proxies and IP change.

We also do List clean but only for our corporate clients who we know are professional mailers.

  Desktop email verifiers such as G-Lock Email Verifier (GEV) may not give accurate results when used on a local computer because all ISP’s report their dynamic ranges to Spamhaus. Anyone using the Zen Spamhaus list automatically blocks all connections from dynamic IP addresses. Therefore, if you want to use desktop email verifier, you can install it on a Windows VPS and configure the VPS in the right way.
  
  Here are a few tips for configuring and using the verifier software on a Windows VPS to get most accurate results:
  
  1. Register a domain name and point it to your VPS. Then you will use that domain in the GEV DNS Settings in the "Domain name for HELO" field.
  
  2. Install a mail server on the VPS and create an email account. Then you will use this email account in the GEV DNS Settings in the "Mail FROM" field. You can use the free SMTP server from https://www.hmailserver.com/
  
  3. Configure authentication records (PTR, Reverse DNS) on the Windows VPS.
  
  4. If you verify email addresses from outlook domains such as hotmail.com, msn.com, live.com or outlook.com, you should be aware that your VPS IP address will be blocked after 5,000 connections without sending a real message. So, you should send real messages from your VPS to outlook domains in order to not be blocked, or simply exclude email addresses from the mentioned domains from the verification.
  
  5. When your IP is new to ISPs, it has a neutral reputation. So, start verifying emails slowly and use throttling to limit the number of verified emails per hour, for example. With time as far as your reputation is becoming better, you will be able to increase the speed and remove the throttling. And you will get more accurate results when you have a good reputation.
  
  6. Watch your IP reputation and remove it from blacklists if it is blocked for some reason.
  
  Using desktop email verifier on a Windows VPS is cheaper than using an online email verifier service if you need to verify high volumes of emails on a regular basis.

  The best way is to scrub your list against a HUGE list of known bad emails, traps, complainers. A big ESP can gather that data over time, like we do. We learn from our past and store all data on a database for all bad emails we encounter.

sent emails to them of course... but before that i would suggest you to upload them to autoresponders...
sending them emails for a period of time... to monitor the open rate, click rate and bounce rate of the list you have....

you can have 2 options to filter good email address.
1- send email to whole list using custom SMTP.
2- use service like neverbounce, emaillistverify etc.

however, option 1 will cost you less than option 2, moreover your good email users will receive an email from you.

If you have android device, you can try email verifier app or iMarketing Center

This app doesn't help you clean all of your contact list, but can help you reduce bounce rate e.g. from 30% to 5%

Am I the only one curious about where these emails came from? Where did they optin? Did they click on the verification email from that optin form? If not you probably do not have permission to market to them. The exception would be if they opted in with an offline form as described earlier. Otherwise if you just grabbed a bunch of emails from online contact forms or whatever, you should not contact these people. Without permission it is SPAM and illegal

Are you just wanting to remove bounces or also threats and how big is your list?

I've been mailing for a very long time that I've developed multiple custom verifiers for verifying high volume.

Domain verifier which the main purpose is to make sure the domain has an A and MX record.

Standard address verifier to remove bounces.

Yahoo verifier because regular verifiers can't verify yahoo addresses.

Social segmenter which checks the address against social media accounts. All that match are then highly likely a primary address and not a throw away and checked frequently. Plus they are extremely unlikely to be any kind of spam trap.

With the above I can convert cheap aged data in to quality deliverable data and then just clean against additional threats.

It takes lot of time to verify email addresses. Even verified emails have danger of spam complaints, blocking of domain and hosting.

Instead of collecting emails and verifying, you should buy latest email lists that have less bounce rate.

It is hard to know if the email list is REALLY up-to-date. Therefore, you should always request a validation report from those 3rd party email validation provider to confirm you have quality email address.

Don't depend on any tool to verify bulk email addresses.
Tools are misleading
You can check manually. Randomly select some email addresses from the list and send mails. If the mails don't bounce back, the ids are valid.

the OP wants to automate everything. but this method will cost a lot of time. and time is valuable.
