Profiting with solo ads?

Hey guys/gals,

Just curious, but how do you guys profit or break even with solo ads?

I have a great provider with active subscribers whom I got recommended to, but I was curious on which of you guys profit with solo ads or at least have the prospects you get from the solo ads pay for the solo ad itself?

Any techniques? Do you guys usually break even or better yet profit with solo ads and reinvest the profits?

^^That would be the dream^^

What's your guys conversions as far as affiliate marketing?

Can you guys do some math to explain it like "I order 200 clicks, 100 opt-in, an out of that you make however many sales...

Just something like that to better explain it.

I do email marketing by the way, so I just have a landing page and direct traffic to it then they get sent my followup series.

Thanks for the time

    Its always something in progress.

The idea is to have a funnel that converts for you.

Then you need to qualify your solo vendor.

Are all of them going to work out for you?

NO but the ones that do you keep a spreadsheet on.

Takes time and like everything else there is a optimization process that needs to take place,

I think you will find that most don't make a profit if all they are doing is promoting a single offer on the front-end and that it comes down to having a good funnel / back-end to turn a decent profit.

I have a funnel with a front end product and 2 upsells. Then i also have a followup sequence that gets more of my $$ back. I've listened to a lot of what people on the forum said that the traffic doesn't convert, it's beaten to death traffic ...etc etc but I did my own little test.

If the subs were beaten to death I would never be able to break 10%.

BUT I will admit the response from other traffic sources, let's say youtube, can be quite a bit more if done right...

As you can see the response rate from YT is greater and I have been able to pull many sales from that list. I actually have a pretty strong relationship with that list as I talk to several of the people on a weekly basis. No churn and burn here.

To be fair i have a much simpler funnel attached to my YT videos, just because the people are more likely to respond to emails AND there is no ad spend to make back.

The one massive strength of solo ads is being able to tap into a stream of consistent buyer leads, and that is something i cannot specifically target with YT.

The point of all this: you need a very strong funnel with different offers in a funnel to make back your money with solo ads. You also need a strong followup sequence to get anyone else who hasn't bought yet. I sell my own products in my funnel so I just reintroduce those products in my followup sequence and have made sales that way.

It is definitely 100% possible to make a killing with solos...or even with other sources like YT traffic

How do you guys go about promoting products?

How long is your followup sequence? And what do you say in your "value" content emails?

Does it go... Value, value, value, offer?

    Thanks,

    Adam
