Help! Making email lists donesn't make sense!

Hi guys!

How do you make a list for each launch that you make? And do you create separate emails for each list?

In my mind, if you do 3 launches in a month or two, and then you create a list for each one and it's offers, you're easily talkoing about 6-9 lists!

There has to be a way that helps you automate things with the autoresponders right?

      ^ What he said.

About your other question, if you're business and landing pages require 6-9 lists, then that's what you're going to do. It's your business, and sometimes sacrifices, and manual labor, might be needed

It is called segmenting your list/lists, just log into the knowledge base or support page of your particular autoresponder and they will tell you how to do it on their platform, it is really not that difficult. Just make sure you name your lists properly and keep notes as to what was promoted to build this list

That would depend on how you segment your list. Just create one list in every niche.

    Buyers List Niche1
    Leads Niche1

    to

    Buyers List NicheNth
    Leads NicheNth

List segmentation is something that can be done in literally every ESP system.
This is not something you need to worry about at all, just give them unique names and you are off to the races.

I have a launch coming up and this will be my first time trying this. I will look into segmenting, because I never done it.

Youtube has been getting a lot action from me lately lol. Thanks guys for leading me in the right direction! Hopefully I can return the favor to everyone pretty soon with the knowledge that I've gained

I totally get what you are talking about.

I thought exactly this. I guess you are a technical person.

Well anyway, I wanted to do similar things, so I'm writing my own email list manager.... should probably actually be making products... but this seems like more fun!.

In that, I should be able to segment lists, or create new ones very simple..

      e.g.
Create new list... 'Might like to by Z Version 2'
add users from 'Buyers of X'.
Remove users of 'Buyers of Z Version 1.5' .

      etc.

    Hey Freedom,

So let's take a step back for a second.. Whenever you get confused it's best to go back to the basics.

Email marketing is really none other than collecting emails and sending them things they might want via affiliate offers or your own creations. That's it. You collect the emails and you send them stuff.

Now the most common way to do that is usually building a squeeze page and having a free product to offer them in exchange for their email address.

The first thing I have to ask is why are you launching multiple products? Is it because you are constantly running out of money? If that is the case then I suggest doing some recurring payment structures to help level out cash flow.

However, if you are set on launching 3+ products a month then in Aweber I know you can create multiple list and on your site include the signup box given by Aweber and link it to each free product you give away. And in each list have an autoresponder setup behind it where it sends emails without you having to wake up.

What you name your list the subscriber cannot see.. So feel free to name it something you will remember, but I would say just focus on one list and start building a community around it and sooner or later build a re-billing product that way you get some continual income.

My approach to internet marketing has been to "Keep it simple" and that has always kept my focus in place.

    Hope this was helpful

    Adam
