autoresponder getting caught in gmail spam

Hi all,

My free offer is 4 mb, which is too big to attach with GetResponse. So, I signed up with Digioh and included the link in the message. When I test the msg, it ends up in spam because of the link.

Any ideas? Would bit.ly work, or perhaps uploading to my own domain? Would probably cost a bit if I got a lot of subs.

My spam score is 1.1 because of the link. But still pretty low.

    well... spam score is not one of the reason why your email are in the junk mail... sometimes is the content that you put inside the email.

    you can try to monitor the emails you receive in the inbox and the emails you receive in junk mail.. compare both of it... and you can see a pattern on it..

    for file attachments, i would suggest you to do it under your domain name... check with your hosting for this part...

    You should upload it to your domain like you thought about. It will make things much easier for you.

      I have many websites out there, i buy domains regularly and it happens very often that my test mail to myself ends up in the spam folder... I think they filter too hard... think also that instead of deciding for us what is a spam, they should let go and let us chose what is a spam for us... I even found my daugther<s email who does not do any business online in my spam folder... I think they are NOT quite perfect yet...
