Hey, I was wondering is it ideal to do a solo ad that goes to a free report?

There is an upsells afterwards.

I've done solo ads but never one to a free page.

Or is it better to go for a low ticket with upsells?

Thank you

donot use solo ad's instead use facebook advertising platform.

it is so powerful and targeted that once you get your hands to it ..you will forget about solo ad's.

and most importantly you will get the targeted leads from facebook ad platform unlike the solo ad subscribers...

Facebook is one of the best Trgeted traffic source out there and you will almost pay the same amount like you are paying with solo ad's but your leads will be highly targeted which makes no sense to buy solo ad's

    I hope that Helps

If you want to use solo ads... Here's the best possible funnel.

    # 1 - Squeeze page offering something for free.

    # 2 - After they opt-in, they see a video of you thanking them for subscribing, you introduce yourself, then remind them to check their email for their free gift. You then go into a sales pitch for a one time offer. (The video of you introducing yourself will set you apart from everyone else, and also enables you to go into a pitch after you remind them to check their email the gift that was advertised on the squeeze page).

    # 3 - In your first email followup, send them to a download page (offering whatever you said they get for free) and also with a few monetized links. Also try to introduce yourself in the email, and ask them a few questions about what troubles they're facing. (This helps to generate prestige, rapport, and so your subscribers actually know you).

If I were using solo ads, I'd send them to a squeeze page first before putting up any offers.

I don/t think you should advertise straight through to an offer. You will never be able to advertise to that person ever again if you don't capture their email.

solo ad should go to a high converting landing page then to a one time offer. This offer should ideally be less than $10.

Then follow up your emails to your customer with some value and you should be golden.
