GetResponse Setup + Squeeze Page

Hey everybody!

Hope you all had a killer weekend!

So I have my blog up and running and now want to add a Squeeze page to it. I have a Plugin to give away, but wanted to find out if you can help with the follow...

  1. I have a GetResponse account but NO IDEA how to set it up properly with regards to creating a new list section/category/whatever its called, etc. Are there any good tutorials from the I.M. point of view? Or do can you help with steps to follow?
  2. What is the best way to set up so that when they opt in, they get the gift? How do you guys do it?
Any advice from you will be greatly appreciated! I really need any and all help with this.

If there is anything I can do for you, then please let me know!

    Hi Steve,

    I'm pretty sure Getresponse have good video tutorials in the membership/support area on how to set up your campaign. If not, I'd recommend heading on over to Youtube and looking for free video tutorials there.

    As far as your sales funnel goes, it depends on what else you have to offer. Do you have a paid product or an upsell? Will you be promoting affiliate offers?

    If you have an upsell, take your optins straight to that page after they opt in.

    If you have a relevant product to sell, you could take your optins to a special offer page where you offer your product at a one-time only special discount rate.

    Another option is to send your optins straight to the download page for the free plugin and on that page have banners to relevant affiliate offers.

    When it comes to your email sequence, you can promote your products/affiliate offers to your list immediately when they opt in.

    That is the time they will be the most eager to get what you have to offer.
