Expected auto responder deliverability rate?

What deliverability rate (as a %) would you expect from an auto responder?

Let us presume the following:
  • a fresh domain, which has not got a bad rep with email service providers and ISPs
  • list build purely by solo ads targeted at the make money online niche
  • single opt in only
  • your messages are regular
  • your messages seek to engage
  • your messages promote offer/s
  • you do not spam

If you have a particular experience to comment on please indicate, which auto responder you were using.

Waterfall, thank you for this tool. I have run a test and my results are below:

Are these results typically or below average?

    Hi Andrew,

It's hard to give you a %, but I can tell you that the there are a couple of items on your list will not help you...

"list build purely by solo ads targeted at the make money online niche"

Solo ad traffic in this niche is really low quality. Many of your optins won't read your emails... if the email address is valid in the first place because you are doing "single optins".

Not that I don't recommend single optin, I do that also, but if you're concerned with high deliverability and you're using solo ads for traffic, then be prepared to be disappointed.

Waterfall, thank you. Having checked I can see that spam assassin is picking up a URL I have in the mail as being on a Black List!

Please see the image. The URL alone is adding 5 points onto my spam score and causing my emails to be considered spam by email service providers.

Now I know the primary issue, are there any strategies to get around this?
Not much point sending mails if I cannot include links...

As an update I have done some work building a new sales page with a non blacklisted url.
Overall the deliverability is still very poor with only 54% of mails getting through.

You can see my results here:
G-Lock Apps Delivery Monitor Test Shared Results

Spam assassin is scoring me 2.6 for RDNS_DYNAMIC (Delivered to internal network by host with).

Does anyone know what this means and how I can correct?

    Many thanks
    Andrew
