Aweber showning it as a spam

Hello I am new to Email marketing and using aweber. I just put a clickbank link(hyperlink) in my mail(3rd mail) and added it to mailing sequence. But it's showing 9.5 spam score. I am shocked. Is it not possible to put an affiliate link inside my mail? What should I do now? By the way I have already deleted that message.

Hey there! Have you tried cloaking your clickbank link and putting that in the email instead?

I use a Wordpress plugin that does this for me, but there are paid services too. That might help.

Also watch your usage of words like:

    Free access
    Instant access
    4U
    Big bucks
    Be your own boss
    Earn per week
    Cash
    Make money online
    Etc.

This site has a pretty good list of words that trigger spam filters:
    Keywords AntiSpam Systems | MailUp

Are you using any of these?

I use affiliate links in some of my emails that I send through AWeber and I've never had a problem.

Plus, just because the spam score goes up that's all it is... just a spam score. It doesn't mean you're emails won't get through, it's just a guide on your emails may get flagged as spam. Which, just send an email that says, "Hey Rupam, just checking in to see how you're doing" could go right to the spam box too. You just never know.

Hmm, maybe. Thanks for the input

        Hi,
from what you described, it sounded like you pasted only the link to clickbank and created a followup message with it. If that's the case then having only a clickbank link is a good reason for a bad spam score

Yeah CB will do that for you. Pretty Link at WP will get that Spam Score down.
Maxbounty seems to be fine at Aweber, though.

This has also started happening to me. It's so strange, never used to do that, but it seems like it gets a 9.5 score once you put in a clickbank link.

    Hi

The simplest way to get away from this problem is to cloak your affiliate link. You can use a free Wordpress plugin called Pretty Link.
    This will solve your problem.

This is the Wordpress plugin I use to cloak my links: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-affiliate-links/

It's pretty simple and free. I like it.

I had problems with link shortners and noticed a LOT of other people do to, as evidenced from all the error messages I see. So I installed a script called Yourls on my server and now I have my own private link shortner.

Another solution would be to only put part of the content, not including the Clickbank link, into the email, and put the rest on your website. Then link from the email to your website.
