Why subscribers write nasty emails?

I've received a few nasty emails in my marketing lifetime.
The worst reaction is to react. I've found that 99% of the time
the person behind the email address is either hurt or frustrated
and their response has nothing to do with your email.

I mean, if I don't want to be on your list anymore, there is
the unsubscribe link. But the fact that a subscriber wants
to "suck to you" shows a deep emotional reaction that's close
to how detectives assess crimes committed by a jolted lover--
they were done with passion.

The last thing you want to do in this business is to borrow other
people's frustrations, EXCEPT you're paid to do so.

    It's cause their mama dresses 'em funny.

    Those passionate people are some of the best subs if you make the effort to turn their attitude around.

    This is surprising actually. You seem like a pretty cool dude. But i've realized that the more subscribers i get, the more *borderline* upset/nasty subscribers email me. Simply due to the fact that they thought i was going to show them the magic formula to making $5,000/month within the next 6 months.... from a free email newsletter. (even though the $5,000/month within the next 6 months is possible - depending on a few small factors).

    We all have different levels of understanding and appreciation. A rock song IS trash to a blues musician or fan. What works for you may not have worked for your subscriber, that's assuming that you're sending genuine info that has REALLY worked for you. When your new method or technique or tool doesn't work for him or he doesn't see the value of it, you get the nasty email. I've seen people flaming giants like Apple and Google and Facebook etc, but they're still giants, so as long as you're providing genuine solutions that really help people, and you really want to help people, and are not trying to sell "magic rocks" for a quick and tidy profit, just keep on doing what you're doing buddy.

    There's a marketer who takes nasty emails and then goes about proving the writer of the nasty email wrong.

    He brings in all kinds of stats and comments from other subscribers to back up his case.

    He has a unique way of doing this that makes it humorous and convincing.

    He actually uses their negative comments as content to plug his paid newsletter.

    Yes Ray, you can do that..

    BUT

    why waste an opportunity ?

    You can use the negative responses as fodder for a interesting email in the future.

    Turn it around on them.

    Who cares what this one person thinks if they get more pissed about it when you highlight their negativity.
    The fact is it will make entertaining and engaging reading for your other prospects or customers on your List.


    Negative marketing and Abrasive Marketing can do wonders if done properly!

    it may because of plenty of spam emails to their emails so they got such a mindset most people used to do this i have experience too
