Is a blog to compliment your email list a good idea?

So I've got all my emails written and I've created my squeeze, video series bribe everything else setup! I'm just waiting have enough cash to invest in traffic. I've got a load of content for my emails but was thinking, wouldn't a place where I could have all my content for my subscribers be good for them to refer back to? It could be a good way for them to refer back to products I've promoted to them also?

Anyone had success with this?

      Absolutely.

Not only does it give you a central hub to send your subscribers to and promote
your core business it also gives you an online presence to build your brand.

Absolutely, positively. Spread and syndicate all your Content around the Web. Including your emails.

    Very smart

Of course. A blog is, after all, your brand's home. Even if you use a squeeze page to generate leads, you should still have a place where you can send subscribers once in a while (to articles, videos, etc.)

Yes, so you have where to send people every once in a while from your emails. For example, I like to put a link in each email to train people to click links in my emails. I only recommend products every second or third email, so naturally I have to link to a website for the other times.

There is a saying: Don`t keep all your eggs in one basket.

You have a great idea. In order to make the most money out of a project you need to use all the platforms available to you.
A great idea would be to tease your content in emails and ask the readers to visit your blog in order to finish reading the article.

this is a DEFINITE bro! I have a strategy that you may be interested in (or not whatevers good)

I blog & Vlog about building an online business. And, this is how i'm successfullly building my list.

In doing so once I get to an X amount of people i will be building a facebook group so i can connect personally as well as provide valuable daily content.

At this point there also will be a backend which i plan on building with clickfunnels but i may use something else. I've used optimize 2.0 in the past & that worked well with plain easy layouts.
