Just a squeeze page without a blog

What are your thoughts on having only a squeeze-page and not a blog connected to it? Traffic would come mainly from payed traffic sources and some free ones.

In this way you could focus 100% on perfecting the whole funnel and creating great content for the emails and put more effort and research in traffic, payed and free.

On the other hand,

The good thing about a blog is that you get organic traffic if things go well. Also you seem to have more credibility and have a place to send people to from your email list to your site / blog.

Still, having no blog and not having to spend time on that seems appealing to me.

Of course this also depends a lot on the niche you're in.

Anyone can share their experience on this?

Cheers,
Ben

You can do that for sure, as far as I know, a lot of websites have the concept you mentioned. Online store, PPC, banner ads, and many types of business.

Just need some efforts to optimize your result and cost if you want to use paid traffic.

I think I might try that first - only because it is the simplest way to focus on getting traffic and perfecting emails...

    As far as I heard...

I don't see nothing wrong with that. If you don't mind getting traffic from SEO, then it will be fine.

I did it 2 months ago, but unfortunately, I waste a lot of money. I found that I used wrong ppc source and I didn't change and eliminate ineffective keywords to get my targeted audiences. Now, I am prepare for another campaign after gain enough capital. Hope this time better!

Very good question, I have always been thinking of it more especially for the simple reason that blogging can be a lot of effort and in particular, for the fact that you give away so much valuable information people just come and grab for free nowadays you tend to lose out if you are not monetising the blog in some way.

Rather than blog, why not funnel your valuable information through a squeeze page, meaning purely via email newsletter? That way, you are not giving away your hard earned info willy nilly?

    I think its so powerful!
