Hi, my company has a stack of emails from clients that have rented from our car rental company over the last 12 years. We are going to send an email blast to all those clients, mind you, they haven't opted to receive emails from us. What's the best way to do this? For sure, there will be a lot of bounces/unsubscribes and spams because their will be emails that don't work and people who simply didn't sign up that will unsubscribed even though they rented from us. I'm using Mailchimp. Is too many bounces/unsubcribes/spams gonna affect our reputation with mailchimp? Also, if i do decide to send an email blast to all those emails, should i include a discount if they subscribe to our email? or should just send emails without asking them to opt in? I tested a campaign with our 2015 march clients and we only got 2 unsubcribes and 29 bounces which is not too bad, and we got a 1 week rental from one of our past clients (email marketing brings money!). How would the best email marketing strategist tackle this? I would love to hear your intake.
Should i hire a mailchimp expert?
