How to remove bounced emails from mailing list?

8 replies
I have 40000 emails in my list to which 8000 emails are (invalid) bounced backed to me, I have two files list.txt and bounced.txt, is there any easy way to remove bounced.txt from list.txt. I found this software on the internet but it doesn't handle large email lists, it often gets hanged and another reason i dont want to use this software is because its paid.

          I know one way how to do that. And here are some steps to implement it:
          1. Logging into constant contact and click Email, then Reports;
          2. Scroll down the list of your emails to find the one you want to review;
          3. Click the hyper-linked number in your bounces column;
          4. Find those adresses that you want to remove. You can do this in a few ways: Scrolling through thee list, sue the search field on the left, click the "Display" drop-down to view all of the email adresses in a bounce type;
          5. Select email adresses by checking their boxes or select all of them by checking the box in the upper-left corner;
          6. Click "Remove Emails";

          7. Make sure thta you want to permanently remove the adresses by reading the information overlay, and clicking "Remoce Email Adresses". This will both unsubscribe and remove the selected email adresses from your account.
          What do you think about this? Did it help you?

    I use Ablebits addin for Excel to remove duplicates. It's a great program. However, you will need to also remove subscribers that don't open your emails over time as they are hurting your email deliverable/trust scores with the esp's and your emails will not get delivered into the inbox until you increase your deliverability score. Good luck
