Email Marketing with dentist mailing list

I would like to target my toothpaste to the dentists of USA. Exactly how many email contacts I need and from where I can get email contacts? Is this site Lake B2B (lakeb2b.com) good to get dentist email list? Please suggest.

Also, tell me the later steps for email marketing.

I get that you're trying to build an email list of dentists. But what I don't really get is why?

Are you trying to sell your toothpaste to dentists... so that they can promote/recommend/resell your toothpaste to their patients? The point that I'm trying to make is, does it have to be dentists, or could you sell your toothpaste directly to consumers?

As far as getting dentists on your list, maybe you could start by looking for the contact details on dentists' websites. Then, email them directly and start building some sort of relationship with them, one at a time.

And, once you've build a relationship with them, you could mention your newsletter to them. Since you're building a mailing list of dentists, I'm assuming your newsletter contains information useful to dentists.

Yes john01a, you are right. First, I want dentists' recommendations about my product. When people will find out that renowned dentists are recommending my products, they will be more interested to buy. Then I think I can better sell my products to customers. By the way, I have already purchased Dentists Email List from Lake B2B.

Look for your potential consumer, check their websites and you might find their contacts.

You could personally send them your sample products.

If they see that you have a good offer they might get you as their supplier.

You can go on the route of harvesting emails or buying email lists but I doubt you will have any success since they never heard of you and you send them unsolicited emails. You will also have to comply to the anti spam legislation.

What you could do is target your audience on Facebook. You could ask them to subscribe for a sample. After you have their email, you can start your email marketing. Below is a list of job titles you can use for targeting. I had to cut it short, but you get the idea. You can target only business owners if you want.

Dentists recommend products because they get paid to do so. When you go to a dentist and after your cleaning or whatever you get the nice gift bag with a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and mouthwash. It is because they were given these products and probably some money as well to promote them.

Are you prepared to give your product for free as well as pay the dentist for the recommendation.
