  • Mailchimp costs less than Aweber. Plus, there are plenty of customizable templates you can choose from. We used Aweber before then switched to Mailchimp and it was a good decision

Get Response is really nice because you can integrate it with your WordPress site and it is supported on many platforms. There are great teaching tools in there as well to help you get started if you don't understand. Its fairly easy to use and allows you to set up one time scheduled emails and never do it again. Has a monthly cost but I love it because I can set something up in it and it automatically loads to my WordPress plugin and lets me cut a lot of corners. Kindly Jasmine Carter

I've used both MailChimp and AWeber. I didn't like AWeber's "corporate-y" templates, and MailChimp often screwed up the formatting and didn't look good on mobile once I sent. (I always tested it first, and it would look good during test, but not in final send). I ended up switching to ConvertKit, and haven't looked back since. It's user-friendly, inexpensive, and has great segmentation options.

I find that Mailchimp and Aweber are the best email marketing tools. Although their tracking feature are pretty basic so i would recommend looking into another software that is going to help you track and optimize your all the clicks you get to the fullest. I am currently using Aweber and also Click.org. Hope That helps!

I am looking for WordPress Plugin to do what Mailchimp or others do with Email Automation. e.g. They signup from form for XX list and that list managers 5 different emails that get sent out. If they purchase they move from List A to List B and so on.

Any idea what WordPress Plugin is best for this, paid or free. Let me know what options you suggest please.

Hi, I have a wordpress plugin you could install on your wordpress blog. You do not need to pay monthly subscription like Aweber, Getresponse etc...

My mailing portal will allow you to send out unlimited mails to your list without monthly subscription.

You can send me a mail to workforme@johnannavi.com to get your account set up in minutes.

You also get well detailed tutorials.

Can you setup with SendGrid and WordPress plugin for the email collection and Email Autoresponder (email sequence sending). That way I don't have monthly costs, and the emails are sent via SendGrid (which can be a WordPress Plugin).

So all you need to do is setup the forms and Auto-repsonder process in WordPress. Do you have plugins to do this?>=

I use Aweber, and have used Get Response in the past, and can vouch for either of them, can't speak on behalf of the rest of them as I haven't used them but I know they are more or less similar and good in their own ways, if you got time you can try them, but if you want to save yourself time, those two have been around for a long time and I want to believe they understand the needs of Internet Marketers better. And apparently your question is not even quite clear, what do you mean by email ID leads? And what do you mean you want to use these/this email ID for your product downloads?

I'm wondering, if you got the list from your friend, you probably don't have a consent from all those people to send them email about your download, do you? If you don't, you may have problems with any email marketing software you will use, and I assume you don't want to be tagged a spammer .

Perhaps it's better to look for a tool for cold email instead of email marketing.

GetResponse offers lots of ways to build a subscriber list. If you have a relatively small contact list, you can simply key in or copy and paste email addresses. For larger lists, you can upload a number of file types or connect to a third-party service such as Google, Salesforce, Zendesk and many others. Not all services can import contacts from third-party address books, so this is a win for GetResponse. Once you've got all your contacts in, there's an option called Confirmed Opt-In, which will send a confirmation email to all the contacts you've entered.Once you've added subscribers, you can segment the list by location, open rate, and other criteria. You can also use GetResponse to create Web forms, build landing pages and surveys, and publish your newsletter to Twitter and Facebook. Finally, you can conduct A/B tests to try out different newsletter formats, subject lines, and more.

I like Aweber. They offer great delivery rates after having tested a few options out there. They're not perfect... But they do their job.

And the autoresponder I absolutely despise is GetResponse. I only bad experiences with them and their delivery rate is lower than MailChimp and Aweber.

Be careful when you upload your email list in the Autoresponder. You have to comply with the policies and on Aweber for example you have to explain how and where you got those emails from.

  • Anik Singal has an excellent software they've developed over at SendLane.

What's nice about that software is that it combines a lot of different tools together to help you handle most of the marketing all in one place.

The other super good place is ClickFunnels, I personally love ClickFunnels more than anything I've seen.

There are a lot of email marketing platforms in the market that you can look into:

    Mailchimp
    Aweber
    ActiveTrail
    GetResponse
    ActiveCampaign

    and so forth...

If you have 6000 emails to send, you may need to pay a minimum amount. Some autoresponders are also very strict when it comes to sending cold emails to lists, as this may be considered spammy practice.

I hope you find the best software.

    All the best,

I'm seeing this thread is shred between the GetResponse, Aweber, and MailChimp proponents.

MailChimp gives more in freemium, but I would still prefer GetResponse as you can test up to 5 different versions of your email, and try out a wide range of variables - content, subject line, 'from' field, time of day and day of week.

By comparison, on its 'Growing Business' plans, Mailchimp allows you to split-test three different versions of your email. If you are using relatively small lists, this is not such a big deal, because for statistical reasons split testing is only worth doing on relatively large lists - the but anybody intending to do mailouts to big databases will definitely be better served by the split-testing functionality offered by Getresponse.

I found a good e-mail set up called rocket responder. They have many templates that you can change and make it look like you want and the best part about them is it is always one price so whether you have 100 subscribers or 100,000 you don't pay any more. I know most of the others as you get more people on your list your charge goes up and you could spend thousands a month. I also think they are good for starting out because most other e-mail systems charge more then that even if you have no one on your list so if it takes you a while to get a few thousands people on your list it won't seem like your wasting your money if you don't have many people on your list for a while.

Get Response is one of the best I have had problems with a weber in the past. But your question want to use it for your product downloads. Are the people opt into a list or have you [purchased the list or been given the list Because most responders will refuse letting you put them to your list anyway. I do not think any list purchased will be any good
