Aweber would be the best option. And if you use the promocode; LP60 , you get 60 days for free.
It's the promocode provided by LeadPages

If you're talking about autoresponder, you can go for Aweber.
I've been using it for years, so far so good.

Get Response, Aweber and Mail Chimp are some of the most popular auto-responders. You will also want to set up a squeeze page so you will need a domain and hosting service. Then you will want an incentive / free give-away to attract subscribers. With these items you are ready to start.

Aweber+LeadPages is a pretty good combo. You just need a lead magnet, emails and content+offer.

And let's not forget about the most important part: traffic.

You will have to get an autoresponder. Aweber and Getresponse is one of the best. For WordPress, you can use MyMail Newsletter plugin with third party SMTP (I use amazon SMTP.)

I suggest you to use MailChimp, which is one of the easiest email marketing tools to use, it offers 100% free account and it has a huge variety of integration. Also, I suggest you to use Aweber, which has all the important features you will need for email marketing.

At newbie stage of my business, I am also searching a lot of e-mail marketing service provider but no one will satisfy my needs and everything is waste(time, money, effort). At last, I got some information about e-mail marketing software in bookmark sites. They bookmark some official page through I visit their websites and installed software. That software is Apptivo, cost affordable and more effective. Try to reach them.

Anyone have an opinion on the best visual automation feature and which service to go with? I'm talking about what getdrip, icontact and mautic provide... How you can visually see the diagram of actions and reactions for the email series... Recommendations?

As others have said, Aweber's fantastic.

It's got pretty much everything you need.

Though if you've got a fairly complex sales funnel where you need to move people between different lists, then you might want to look into AW Pro Tools which works alongside AWeber.

You will a lead magnet (more known as something to give away to attract leads, like an e-book, video, etc) and then you will need an auto-responder to store those leads (emails that you will collect) and a squeeze/lead page generator so you can build pages (leadpages, clickfunnels, etc).

From there, you build everything up consistently!
