Hi,

I just started building my email list and I'm kinda down right now...

I've spend $500 to get 100 email list in diabetes niche via fb ads and another $250 in native networks to get another 100 list in diet niche.

Although I sent theme email everyday, from those 200 list, none has make any sales so far...

I just wonder how much email do you need to start showing result? 1.000? 10.000? or 100.000?

This is the stats from my 100 email of diet niche:

Thanks

What have you done to build a relationship with the subscribers on your list? Do they know who you are? Do they trust you? Have you given them a reason to buy what you recommend?

Email marketing is a lot more than sending out emails telling people to buy this and buy that.

you have first to nurture your subscribers by giving them valuable content and for free, build a trust relationship with them, go to give not to ask for giving, give them more than they expect to you, after and somehow you'll begin to receive...

You have to build a relationship and provide your subscribers value before they will purchase. It also usually take people a few times seeing a offer before they purchase it.

In addition to what others have said, most times the usual and traditional way marketers do email marketing is through ‘selling through email’. They’ll use “salesey” words and a tone they believe is going to convince their audience to buy without getting to know your audience first.

Have you figured out even if your subscribers open your emails.

Do they even trust you or your judgement?

How you been able to identify the products your subscriber wants?

You need to be able to figure out these things to have a successful email campaign

Number of emails does not really affect performance. It depends on the strategy you are using. You need to build trust with them. Not only promoting products to them. You must make them trust you and give them the value in buying whatever you are promoting. The way to build trust is to send them valuable tips that you know they will like. Sometimes you can send them link to a free tip on your blog if you have one or any blog that offer help in your target niche. You can promote products once or twice a week. You will meet much success in email marketing with this strategy.

      Thanks for your input.

Since I on diet & fitness niche and let just say That I don't have any content or don't have blogs (lets just say this).

So all I did is to sent them email with snippets and links to various diet niche blog like authoritynutrition, etc etc..

Is that a good idea? Will it crush my reputation since all I do is just sent people to other expert?

You will have to know which website to give to your list. Probably, you will not go for any product promotion blog. You should not go for ad monetized website either since there will be a lot of products being promoted through the ad. Look for a free information source blog. There are websites that don't have the intension of making money. Use Google search, find the website and analyze it before you include it in your emails.

You cannot get much success If the only idea you send them everyday is to buy. Imagine if it were you receiving such emails, you will even want to unsubscribe. But if you receive information which is free and valuable add to your knowlege, automatically, trust will come from the source and you may want to buy what that suggests.

        Does it make sense?

Keep your email interesting. Provide a succcess story like a real life story with links from the original individuals involve, give testimonies and honest reviews, provide trivia and so on. The important point is you need to get the attention of your readers then apply a call to action button or text link.
