Subscribers buy nothing from me.

I have amassed a list of 11,000 people in less than 9 months for less than $80 per month. They are across 5 different niches. I use a few different aliases for each list. I easily get 80+ opt-ins a day across the 5 niches. I can not make any money from my list. I build my list using instagram mainly and a little bit of twitter. I would love somebody to possibly coach me or help me out.

I feel like I am right on the cusp of killing it but just can't get there and it is so frustrating to see my list grow every single day with almost no work whatsoever.

Traffic is supposed to be the hardest part of email marketing but to me it's almost too easy. I was always told the money is in the list and each email subscriber is worth $1 per month. I am lucky if they are worth .05 cents a piece a month at this point.

There could be any number of things wrong with what you're doing. There could be a problem with the quality of your niches, leads, your lead offer, your follow-up sequence, the products you're recommending, or all of the above.

    Are your niches good?
Are your Instagram leads mostly young?
Are your leads mostly from Western countries?
Are the products you're promoting proven to convert?
Are your follow-up e-mails being opened?

i am in the heath/fitness, diet/weight loss, bodybuilding, paleo diet and smoothie niches so 3 of those 5 are in the top 4 of money making niches online. i promote mostly clickbank products and use the email swipes offered by the click bank vendor. i would assume most people on instagram are of the younger age but leads are leads. a few of the lead magnets are excellent. i just really feel people just want free crap these days. my initial email sent our right after they sign up gets about a 50% open rate.

So you are just selling to them. That would be why they are not buying from you. You need to build a relationship with your subscribers before they will just buy stuff you send them.

no in the one list i don't even promote a product until the 4th email. i have tried everything it seems and nothing works. i have watched hundreds of hours of webinars, videos, articles and it just seems i can't get it to work.

So a few months ago I subscribed to some blogs owned I believe by Ryan Deiss, sites such as survival life. I wanted to see how he emails his list. Wow, he aggressively tries to sell on every email and he sends out about 2 per day per site. His niches are drilled down, then he sends out compelling offers aggressively. He will lose subscribers from those who aren't a good fit for that list, those who stay will buy. Don't buy any courses, subscribe to the best and see what they do. It's quite an eye opener.

This is a good point. Seeing what the top marketers actually do my subscribing to their e-mail lists is a way to learn (don't copy/paste their e-mails!!!) But you can see the content type and periodicity of their mails. Yes, 'agressive' mailing can work. They signed up so they buy something or get off. When someone buys, put them on a different list and treat that buyers list with what they want. Be entertaining in your mails, relate to real people, be yourself, be helpful, but offer things that will help them in an excited and energetic way. You have to overcome the 'inertia' and mailing once a week a copy/past offer e-mail won't do that.

how do you know when someone buys a product? clickbank won't let you know which email subscriber bought that particular product.

If you are vendor then Clickbank has Instant Notification System that you can set up https://support.clickbank.com/entrie...cation-Service. This is DIY (do it yourself) kind of service.

They also offer an integration with certain autoresponder vendors which you can just plug in if you happen to use their services. I believe GetResponse and Aweber are on that supported list.

Otherwise, if you are an affiliate then you have to work around things. Like you can offer specific bonuses to specific products.

This way when people buy product and come to you to get their bonuses you know who bought what and can move them accordingly to a buyer list.

    Start sending them daily email.

    Seriously, do it.

And, yes, you are going to pitch in every single email you send.

However, you will only pitch AFTER you have already provided both value and entertainment in your email.

Do this right and you will almost certainly get more sales.

My main product is a monthly subscription newsletter (£99/month), which I plug in my emails nearly every day.

Though just after the monthly deadline to subscribe before it gets sent to the printer, I'll then pitch some other products.

As for the "quality over quantity" comment, the best way is to go for quality and quantity.

If you're doing daily email right, every email you send absolutely should be quality.

You must build a strong relationship with your list . I'm mean they will not buy from you unless you prove to them that you are a person of authority . How so ? Give them pure value that they will not find anywhere else . Share with them more free things ( free e-books , case studies , video courses ... ) to gain their trust and then you can promote to them a good product .
If your list is almost Tier 1 , why u didn't try cpa offers ?

I've tried a few cpa offers but the niches i am in need to give you permission to promote their offers and they have no email swipes.

1)You have to build a relationship with them before you start promoting. You do that by giving away free helpful content or tools. By doing this, They are always excited to see your email.

    2) You have to setup an email funnel for any product you want to promote. for example if you were promoting a landing page tool like optimize press. Your subscribers have to understand why they need it before they can purchase it. The presell email will be about the importance of collecting leads. Your next email will be about the product you are promoting that can help them capture leads.

I hope this helps you understand.

I think people are getting the whole Rayan Deiss sells in every email and promotes aggressively all wrong.

Yes, he advertises and sells aggressively in every single email. But he can get away with it because he is very active and well known in his niche.

He works with businesses, has seminars, conferences and is a brand on his own. Not to mention represents a huge success story.

So when people get on his list, they already know what he is about, like him and proactively looking to get more value from him.

Meaning there is a reason he can get away with selling, selling and selling more.

Same goes for other well-known figures like Ben Settle, Frank Kern, and others.

    They are celebrities.

You on the other hand, are in a completely different weight category.

You are small time email marketer whom no one knows or wants to know. And if you try to sell, sell and sell more you gonna crash and burn.

So you need a different strategy.

For you to sell, you have to employ decent copywriting skills, a whole lot of personality and smart salesmanship. People on your list have to like you genuinely.

I remember trying a few years ago the whole write every day and sell in every email, and the thing got me nothing but a trouble.

Set the freebie up to presell the paid product.

Example, If you're selling a Photoshop action, create a free PDF ebook tutorial on how to manually do everything the action script does. Advertise the Photoshop action script inside the free ebook with a buy now button, etc... In this example you're selling convince because an action script automates 10s/100s of manual work inside of Photoshop. Just one example.

  • I would start by testing a LOT of things in my email campaign, mainly putting up different sales pages, providing good freebie for my subscribers, and most of all testing out different kinds of newsletter campaign. By doing this, you will somehow have an idea which one works and which one don't.

The problem is that you need to test a lot you headlines, open rates, etc, etc...

And as said is super important that you offer quality content before trying to sell anything.

Rob Whisonant gave you great advice!
You're trying to sell before you built relationship with your subscribers.
Remember: "Money is NOT in the list, but in RELATIONSHIP with subscribers"

I would stop trying to make money, and start giving free useful information that really helps your audience. Also try to get some reply from subscribers to see do they find your info useful.

You need to find out what is your audience
Its older? Or younger? From which countries most of your traffic comes from?
    USA? Europe? Or eastern countries?

Also try to sell your service of sending emails on Fiverr or seoclerks to get back some of your investment.
