New here! Can use help

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the site and was introduced to Warrior Forum after reading about affiliate marketing which is an avenue I just began to take on. I have a question about building an email list and getting subscribers. I don't have any at all and my site has been live for four months now. I'm producing all original content and wanted some leads on how some of you achieve success in this venue.

Are doing PPC worth it? I'm using social media platforms to share my content but haven't seen results yet. All help will be greatly appreciated.

If you have no subscribers, then the traffic you're getting does not match the content they're being sent to. You need to think about exactly who your content is aimed at. I think PPC in general can suck your money down the drain very easily, but maybe Facebook ads could be worth doing, as you can target the demographics very easily.

Thanks for the tip! Good call with Facebook Ad's. I've been doing them but not enough. I run them at very low cost. I was told to do $7 a day and I would run an ad for just a few days sometimes a week long. Should I increase my cost or run multiple ads. I just ran a video ad that finished. It was for 4 days and cost was $5 dollars a day.

You should be running variations of each ad and split-testing them. Each variation can be a very small change, like one word, or even just change some punctuation.

Even if you think the ad is already as good as it can be, just try some experiments to see if you can make it even better - keep moving forwards.

When you can, it would be good to get into "retargeting". This means that your traffic sees your ads multiple times, and effectively lowers your total CPC.

        Cheers,

        Jon.

Hi, you need to get targeted traffic. Not just any old traffic. You need people who have an interest in your niche. The quickest way to get targeted traffic is to go to a site like udimidotcom where you will find hundreds of people who have large subscriber lists.

Contact those who have subscriber lists in the same niche that you are in, and send them your link and ask, is this link relevant to your list of subscribers? When you find one, they will send out what is called a solo ad to how ever many subscribers you wish to purchase. Don't be tempted to spend mega money. Start off with someone who will do say 100 clicks for $25-$50.

If you start making money, you can reinvest it and buy more solo ads. There are many free ways to get traffic but they take time and effort. Buying solo ads is the quickest way to get targeted traffic and start making money.

Yeah man, I agree about the solo ads, that can build your list quickly and in the right niche to.

Just make sure to keep emailing that list at least once a week to keep them in touch with you and your brand.

Send them promotions, product reviews on that niche, but make sure you also send them some good free content to use at least once a week such as blog post, videos, just make sure the info is relevant to the niche your in and it's something that can really help them solve a problem.

Wow this is huge! I just looked into this. I'm wondering how to find out the people who sell the ads work with my niche. They don't really indicate in their info. Is it best to find the highest sold users with big subscribers for optimum results?

Paying for audience on on social media web sites may be a good option for you as it is very effective in targeting the audience that is most important for your website and/or business.

You could have the best website on the planet with the best content ever produced, but if you don't advertise it, no-one is going to know it's there.

Think about it. There are millions of websites on the internet, even in your niche. You have to advertise your site to get visitors. There are hundreds of ways to advertise. There are free and paid methods. Free advertising can work, but takes time and a lot of effort. Paid advertising is almost instant but can be expensive if you don't know what you're doing.

My blog may give you some ideas.

Thanks for shedding some light... do members here share their site with people here or is that kept private? I'm in the adventure sports and hiking niche. (Camping and outdoors). Would you say doing something like solo ad's will be beneficial?

    Hey all,

Paid for 50 solo clicks and got 52 plus one subscriber on my affiliate site. Seemed to work nicely. However, I need someone to target my niche better than the person I paid for the work. I'd like to invest in 50 to 100 clicks a week for the next few months to see how it goes. In addition to this I plan to run Facebook ad's when I post new content to my blog.
