Email Marketing Explained

Hey there guys, so I've seen a lot of confusion about how people can actually make money online.

I see a lot of people going for a "quick-fix" kind of solution, especially with affiliate marketing. They send traffic straight to their affiliate links in the hope that the page converts and that they make some money from it.

In my opinion this is not as effective as email marketing. Email marketing may take a little more effort, but the margins are better (especially if you're using paid traffic).

Think about it, you pay for a click say, and then they may buy, or they may not. Then most likely you'll never see them again. Same with free traffic.

OR you send the person to a squeeze page, you collect the email address, and you can then send an affiliate product as many times as you want. And you can send multiple offers. They may end up buying multiple products and services off/through you. And perhaps most importantly, you have the opportunity to increase the proportion of leads that buy, because you have the opportunity to build a relationship with them by offering massive value and building trust through authenticity. People buy from those they know, like, and trust. You can do all this through autoresponder sequences too.

Making email marketing my weapon of choice because, after some setup, it gives you your time back. It gives you freedom to do what you want when you want it. AND it has massive capacity for scaling up to make a lot more money.

So some steps for you if you're not involved and you'd like to get started:

1. pick a niche
2. find an autoresponder, eg aweber, getresponse, sendlane
3. build a squeeze page (don't worry if you don't have tech skills, there are ways around that)
4. set up a series of autoresponder emails that automatically send to the email address when obtained (with your affiliate links inside)
5. drive people to this squeeze page (called "traffic") via paid advertising (eg paid clicks, facebook ads, etc.) or free advertising (eg. blog, YouTube, podcasts) or a combination of both.
6. also do this with broadcasts, which you send out every day/ a couple times a week.

That's the basic process in my eyes. As you can see it's really quite simple. What helped me big time was finding mentors and investing in courses.

If you have any questions about specific steps in the process, or anything to add, please do post below! I'm here to help anyway I can. I relied on great mentors helping me in the beginning, so I'm just looking to "pay it forward".

All the best
