Paid traffic is definitely the fastest but I wouldn't say they are the best. But if you're set on the paid ads, $1 per subscriber is a good baseline but you would probably spend less than that the better you get with optimizing your funnel.

Go to Facebook and type in solo ad testimonials. Find a seller who has a large list of subscribers with an interest in what you have to offer. The email that you want the seller to send should be to your squeeze page so you can capture email addresses. Once you build your own list, you can start building a relationship with your subscribers and then send them offers to buy.

Thanks for the suggestion, I already know the method. It just doesn't guarantee high quality traffic. I want to know theoretically, how much effort, time and money would it take to reach a 1000 high quality traffic

I have 3 suggestions for free traffic :-

1. Search for other blogs in your niche (preferably on page 1 of Google). Join the conversation and provide really helpful information. Tell the readers they can find more info on the subject on your website.
2. Search for Facebook Groups in your niche. Some of them have many thousands of members so once again, join the conversation always giving value and send them to your site to find out more.
3. Create short videos on YouTube. Use the 'whiteboard' method with a voice-over. You can get both of these at Fiverr.com typically paying $5 for 60 seconds of video or voice over. End the video with a time bound special offer pointing to your website.
