How often do you email your list? What are the best days and time slots to email? Which days and times should you avoid? What exactly do you talk about in your emails and titles?

    Hi there,

As for me, I send email sales letters 1-2 times a week, usually on Monday and Friday. Depending on your target market and its timezone, it is highly preferable you send emails in the afternoon to early evening, so the probability they will read it is higher because they just got home from work.

Avoid weekends; usually, people are out having fun during that time or out of town, so they will not mind much anything not related to personal emails. I usually talk about the products I offer, and the discounts they can get when they purchase it from me.

      Hi Catherine Bueno,

Sending out emails 1-2 times a week, Monday to Friday...
      sounds like a good rule.

Because from some marketers I get emails every day
and I must say I don't like it that much.

I get that you need to build the know, like and trust factor...
and you for that by sending emails with value... that's cool.

But to open your inbox and see 10 emails from the same
X marketer is not ok. It's like...

"where do I start to read? Ahh... delete"

      Best from
      Ole

I have lists that I send 3 times per week, lists I send 4-5 times per week and other lists that I send multiple times per day.

Monday-Thursday are probably the best days the bulk of the time.

If you have opt-in, then best time is probably the same time the user subscribed. Otherwise mornings / afternoons.

Most of my messages are promotions. But this is because I'm not trying to sell users anything. I generate leads, so a user just needs to fill out a form. So I don't have to try and build trust for that...so I don't send content.

I tend to think Tues/Wed are the best days to mail. On Monday I feel people have a ton of things to do when they start the work week and will not pay as much attention .

According to me, sending on Monday does not make sense because the mail disappears in many e-mails from the weekend. Speaking from his own experience and what happens to my mailbox on Monday. A lot also depends on the target group the services

From my personal experience, you need to test to really find out when is the best timing. For example, your best buddy may tell you it's best to send between 7pm - 10pm on weekday but it may or may not true. Test it out yourself for your own list to really find out.

In general, I find this article from WordStream provide a good insights. Check it out and hopefully it provide a guide for you to fine tune yours. g.luck!

The more frequently you email them the better. I personally email my list 3-5 times a week depending. It's all in the way you do it, and the value you provide to them.

    EMAIL EVERY DAY.

i know it sounds a bit too much, and most of the people dont agree, but as statistical results say, if you email every day, you can only sell more.

Most of the mail have to be with free content, relationship emails, etc. But people if they are interested in them, will read them.

People stay on facebook every day, and if you write strong engaging email they will read them as they look at their newsfeed.
