How To Give Something Away For Free To Grow Email List

Howdy Folks,

Hope everyone is having a great day so far!

I'm hoping someone out there might be able to answer a question I have...

I'm in the process of setting up a software app on my domain that I want to give free access to other affiliate/network marketers but do it in a way that they would have to use their FB login credentials in order to gain access to it.

This way here, I can build my own list of valid subs/emails, and they can use this free service as long as they stay active on my list, however I can't figure out the best solution to accomplishing this.

If someone out there has a viable solution, I would greatly appreciate the feedback!

  • To get valid subscribers, you can use double opt-in instead. I think this is the most simple and straightforward method.

    I believed your software app needs member to log in in order to access? If so, setup a simple membership (WP-based will do) to control the access. Remove the software access to those who unsubscribe from your email list.

      I had thought about the double-optin, but it would still be possible for someone to create a throwaway email address just to get access to the app..

      On the flipside, I do like the membership website...but there again, how would I setup it up to require/force the end-user to use the same email address they use to log into Facebook?

  • Linking emails (or anything for the matter) to Facebook is not an easy task, mostly because they change their mark-up language so often. The best solution would be to get a FML expert on board to help you and the best way to do that would be to post your project on Upwork or Freelancer and spend a few $.
