gmIM list + Forext list + Wealth training ebooks niche: Can they be combined?

Hi everyone,
Having been in forex for 5 years, I have accumulated 100k emails in my forex list.
And I have started to branch out to IM and Personal Development niche for a year so far.
At first, I classified the mailing list into 3 groups as forex, IM, P.D.
I am now considering to merge these groups into one. The rationale behind this is they all have one particular trait in common. Like my I.M product is to help newbie make money by using my autopilot blog building system. My P.D offer, which is wealth-related ebooks, helps people who are financially struggling in their life to start building their own online biz. So as you can see here, all of my offers targeted at money topic, although niches are different.
I am not sure if I can blast my email to these three list groups simultaneously?
Can anyone here give me some advice?
Thank you

    Hey,

Just one tip of advice I would suggest to start off with that won't require you to jeopardize the relationship you have with your lists is to create some sort of content email related to making money and that you feel would apply to all 3 lists simultaneously.

Then send that email to all 3 lists and test to see what each of the lists felt about that. You could even have a series of a few emails that are congruent with all 3 lists. Then see how this string of emails goes with your lists.

My only concern would be to hurt the relationship with one or more of your lists because you may not be offering them the in-depth content they're looking for on your list. Rather they feel like they might be getting content that only scratches the surface of what they're after. I say this because I don't know the intimacy of the relationship you have with your lists, types of content you put out, etc.

But I just think that this would be the only pitfall from testing a few ideas to merge these lists into one.

    Hope this helps you out.

    AJ.

Before you decide to merge all 3 lists, I suggest to run a separate survey for each list to understand what are they interested in the most.

While these 3 lists have something in common i.e to make more money, but we have to also take the fact that there are differences especially in forex and IM niches. Some marketers involved in IM don't want to get involved in forex and vice versa, although the end objective is the same i.e to make money.

Personally, I suggest to keep it separate based on my reason above, but if you feel like combining them, do run the survey to hear them out. Well, majority will likely ignore your survey and in order to sweeten the pot, offer some freebie as an incentive for them to take part in the survey. Remember to make the survey as simple as possible, make it easy to complete it.

Thanks for giving me some advice.
Can you please elaborate this point ? Or give some examples of what IMer dislike about Forex and similarly, what Forex traders do not like about IM?

Thanks for giving me some advice!
But can you elaborate the above point?
Or giving me some examples of why IMers and forex trader sometimes don't like to get involved in Forex and IM respectively?
