Email Marketing Conversion Rates (affiliate offers)

Hi, just wanted to know from experienced email marketers that have promoted affiliate offers from networks such as; clickbank and Jvzoo what where your average conversion rates? Did you use the emails that were available from the vendor in order to promote the product? or did you write your own emails? what niches? thanks

    My conversion rates are typically around 2-3%. So for every 100 clickers around 2-3 sales? But again, this of course depends on the offer - its landing page, etc.

    But I'm mostly focusing on lead generation meaning no sales involved. I get paid when someone submits a form with their information. So say I mail out a auto insurance offer. One will fill it out and I get paid $10-20 on average.

    I would never use the emails provided by the vendor. Pretty sure tons of people use it. Be creative and write your own copy.
