Is this Normal or I did it Wrong??

Hi Warriors,

I have a buyers list, but when I mail them every day, I see 1 to 3 people unsubscribe from my list in every email, is this normal? I am getting 5% to 9% open rate and If I mail them twice a day, I am getting totally 9% to 14%, CTR is 20% on average.

Try this: Do not mail them everyday or twice a day, maybe three or two times a week of valuable mail will do. They may feel you're spamming them.

Thanks Obed for your opinion, But I know multi-millions email marketers send 2 to 3 emails every day to their list.

Your list will get used to the conditions that you set.

You should be consistent. Many ppl will give you the advice to spread out your emails. Testing on THOUSANDS of subscribers, sending two or three emails daily is the most profitable in the "make money online" industry.

Don't let anyone tell ya different.

Unsubscribes are part of the game. It is normal and insignificant.

Thanks a lot Brendan to clear that, I was hesitating to send them every day, Now I am resending the same email to unopen subscribers, could you suggest after how many hours I can resend the same email?

Anyone that mails to their list 3 times a day should be arrested. I generally unsubscribe if you mail me 3 times per week.

How is it your CTR is higher than your open rate?

I mean the clicks on the links in the emails that I send.

Are you counting multiple clicks per user? What service is counting these for you? If you're counting it right, it isn't possible for more people to be clicking than are opening.

Those aren't bad statistics at all. Yes you will almost always get a few unsubscribes when you email people - you can't stop people from going away.

I'd bring it down to 3 emails a week max because some people just get ticked off if you email them too much.

Otherwise, I think the open rates aren't too bad.

  • I think work like spam. Why they do that, this is exactly why. And regular massage isn't sent there by you. Break some moment.

IT DEPENDS on WHAT YOU ARE EMAILING THEM!

    Are you only selling something?

Maybe it's the cause: they perceive you as a compulsive seller, maybe an affiliate one.
    Who maybe you indeed are.

So try to deliver them VALUE: Email Marketing STARTS as other business: IDENTIFY a problem and PROVIDE a solution.

    Then sell.

Sometimes you can get better open rates if you have a great headline. If the subject does not draw them in, they will not open. Back it up with good quality content and some pitches. Unsubscribes at least means they were opening so that is good. It is natural to have some people leave your list. These were probably not buyers anyway, so it is not something to worry about. They were likely freebie seekers who saw the next shiny thing... I did see Brendan Mace say on another thread earlier sometimes simpler is better as far as the subject advice.
