Email marketing question

Hi I just started a weight loss email marketing campaign I have only 36 subscribers using solo ads thus far and no sales. My average open rate per email is about 15 percent. I have a 10 day autoresponder series. With a mixture of info emails and sales emails just wondering if Im on the right track

Your open rate is decent and 10 emails is a good start.

36 subscribers is kind of low to gauge anything though. Unless you have an instant offer that is laser targeted to what your opt-in page is about then there is a possibility to have seen sales by now.

I would keep sending traffic and keep writing follow-ups. Then you can tweak your campaign based on further results.

Always remember the importance of your squeeze page too. The higher you can get the opt-in rate, the less you will have to spend to break even and profit.

    Very important.

    What are you promoting?

Over the years I have promoted a bunch of weight loss, but I have always done Free Trails. As they typically convert better than outright purchases.

Are you getting clicks to the offer page?

I give away a free report. In exhange for emails. But it's hard getting traffic. I tried facebook but it didn't work for me. So I just bought some solo ads and the optins are coming slowly. I need to find a better way to get traffic.

DONT EXPECT SALES ON THE FRONT END!

    Most of newbie do it.

You have to be patient and build a relationship. Build ENGAGEMENT.

There's something which is called Zero Moment of Truth: when you promote something, an user go to Google and search of it.

So try to be present with as many media you can: fb page, youtube, etc.

Nurture your leads, and expect sales on the BACK END: so you have to set a good offer on the back end.

It's better to sell something on the back end at 97 usd then a little sale on the front end of 7 usd.

Please don't rely on Solo ads... Try to build you list via content marketing, get good articles on your blog and drive traffic there.

I average a 47% open rate, by doing it this way.. I recently made $13,000+ from 1 email to a list of 72 people.

Solo Ads can be a good way to start but unless you are selling leads you are going to struggle.

The funnel model I have been trying is to sell a small item ($5) on the front end load them with content then sell (recommend) larger items. It makes sense to spend a lot of time focusing on content marketing, so if they arrive on your list they may already see you as an authority...

It's good, you got 15% email open rate. if you get more subscriber then you would get goog d number of readers and take the action on email what fired..if you send proper and clear message to the users for any offers or request with proper text, images and etc
