Aweber deliverability?

Hi all,
I've heard that Aweber deliverability is affected by the pricing package you choose.
For example, if you register for 500 email package. Your inbox rate will be lower than if you register for 10k email package.
I've asked Aweber staff about this but they told me that deliverabililty if the same, regardless of your pricing package.
But one of my friend still insisted that it is not true. Aweber will prioritize customers who buy more expensive package than those who opt for lower priced option.
Is it right?

That would be dumb to do and it's not true.

If you sign up for a free trial and the deliverability sucks, then they won't convert to a paid customer.

Also, many start small and scale up.

That's not to say that you can't get an account with low IP reputation. Always start with a free trial account and check your sender score and inbox placement. If you're having problems, complain and ask to have your IP changed. If they won't change your IP, then close the account and get another one and check that account.

I know someone that recently got a getresponse account and the sender score was 76 and they couldn't inbox gmail. I told them to close the account and get another one. The new account had a sender score of 90 and they had no problems inboxing gmail.

There are two main things ESPs care about, getting customers and protecting their IP reputation. So they get good deliverability. But getresponse will stick people on crappy IPs and say there is nothing wrong with them.

I know someone that got a getresponse account recently and couldn't inbox gmail from day one. Closed the account and got an aweber account and had not problems. Usually, getresponse is real good for inboxing gmail. Even if the IPs don't have a great sender score and are on some blacklists.
Thank you but I am not clear with your answer here. Is it true that Aweber inbox rate will increase if you pay for more expensive package?

I have never experienced it and I have upgraded to and purchased more expensive packages.

Your deliverability starts with the reputation of the IP your mail is sent with.

You can sign up for a free trial account and check your sender score and inbox placement and it can be just as good as a more expensive package.

I updated my original post to better explain.

I have been an AWeber customer for many years. The deliverability is the same across the board.

Over time, I have grown my lists in my AWeber account from a few thousand to over 40,000 and the deliverability is constant. The question would be around the quality of your lists and if you are keeping them cleaned out of unsubscribes and undeliverables.

As your reputation improves and more of your emails are opened and not flagged as SPAM, your sender score will improve as well as quoted in the previous reply from DIABLO.

I would be interested to see any metrics you might have that would show otherwise, but just in case you received bad info, the deliverability should be the same, regardless of the pricing model and volume.

I will tell you, that services like SendGrid and other larger SMTP providers will place you on different tiers of service, depending on the success of your email campaigns and the rate of complaints.

This does not seem to be the case with AWeber, GetResponse and some of the others.

To echo what SSSJames said, its really all about maintaining your lists and not just letting them sit there.

I personally go through my once a week to remove any unsubscribes and undeliverables inside of each list segment.

I also take the haters and complainers (yes...you'll get some) and add them to the suppression list to keep them from subscribing to ANY of my lists in the future.

I also run a 10-day re-engagement series (knock knock...are you still there) to check for a pulse on subscribers that haven't opened an email from my in the last 30-days. Anybody that falls through the rinse cycle at the end and doesn't respond in some way, I remove them.

    Hope this helps a little.
