I don't want to invest money in creating a product yet, is it better to build a email list and email the list every once in a while till I know I could make money? Is there other ways to test if the product will convert well, before committing to creating the product?

You can build a list with a landing page and autoresponder. If you give a good incentive, they may join and then you can give them good quality information and try to suggest products from time to time

I'd stick with building a list and seeing what converts that way.. even if it's not worth your time creating a product you can still sell to them, as often as you want to.

Build a list (using a landing page and an enticing free gift) and put a juicy affiliate offer on the thank you page. Set up a 20-email autoresponder with a good mixture of content and offers.

Reinvest the money you make from this funnel back into driving traffic and build up. When you have the appropriate resources and feel ready, you can build a product.

Good stuff. Yeah go find a good affiliate product that is proven to make and continues to make steady sales. The more sales the better!

Then go ahead and build yourself a landing page and funnel sharing some aspect or result the product can give you without giving away so much detail then leading them into the proven already paid affiliate offer you make your commission on. Learn to build that and optimize for the conversions first and then you will be that much better at creating a product that serves the marketplace.

    Hi:

It is best to build your list first and email them daily or perhaps every other day. You can question your list to ask them what kinds of products they want. Once you know what kind or kinds of products they want then you can deliver them the exact thing they said they wanted. That should increase click throughs and sales.

    Good luck,

Review sites are an absolutely fantastic way to get started. You want to review products that have search volume for the product name keywords and then go on to recommend a product that you get paid a commission on. Thats how i started. Simple and free. Focus on traffic (blog/site) first and then you can build your list,,, Good luck.

You're talking about being an affiliate marketer for other products right?

That's a given way of making money online with the requirements being a demand for the product/service you're promoting and an audience who is interested in what you do and help them with.

When it comes to checking if your product will convert well, I'd suggest you read this guide, contains a lot of great information and tips on doing research and analyzing markets:

    https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/217345

There are a ton of other guides and posts on this topic (knowing if your product will convert well), just Google for any keyword that might be relevant to the topic at hand and you'll have at least a dozen to go through.

    The bigger question for though?

What are you interested in and can you put aside interest for following the money?

What I want to say is that if you are indeed keen on eventually creating a product you have to make sure that you are:

    A) Interested in the topic of the product or service.

    or..

    B) You have enough drive to follow the money trails and enter a profitable market.

Let me know if this helped!

That's why you have affiliate programs. You can sell other people's products for a commission.

This is the best way to go in my view.

Every GURU or internet marketing experts who have their own product started selling other people's products.
