Email Marketing newbie - Facebook as a traffic source

Hi all,

I'm new to email marketing, and its the first time I try it.

I've built my marketing funnel with getresponse and leadpages, and I'm thinking of selling
a Clickbank product for women.

I'm looking for a traffic source for my opt in and consider facebook ads.
Are facebook ads a good traffic source for getting subscribers? What your experience?

    I find it really depends on your niche and product ... some things will work well and others won't
    Maybe if you got more specific about the niche we could give better opinions.

    Like who is your ideal customer, what age what interests what geo how much money ... etc

    Also if you very clearly define your ideal customer it will help you target your ads and maybe you can answer the question all by yourself.

      rritz is right.

      Also, IMO, Facebook's not the best platform to start. Google Ads perhaps? At least the probability of people (women in this sense) to look for the product on Google is higher than on Facebook. I mean, you gotta be where your market is most possibly be.

    You might want to try a few things in a small way to test to see what works better for you. Then focus on getting better at that one.

    I have the best experience with Facebook advertising when I’ve generated 285 real estate leads in 12 days.
    Facebook Advertising done the right way is very very effective and certainly very affordable way to get real estate leads, both seller and buyer leads and it`s very useful for any type of product or service and will certainly give you a great experience like it gave me.

    aligouda, leads - do you mean visitors, or people who provided you their contacts?
    I am getting roughly 100 clicks per day, but only 1-2 conversions (which means fill out contact form or subscription.)
