One thing I still don't understand about SOLO ADS.

Thanks for reading my question.

I have been out of this for a while. But, I've bought a couple solo ads.

But i'm confused about something...

I am the owner and designer of:
https://clevergizmos.com/keyword-researcher/

And so I would like to market my software to people with a list of SEO guys or website-owners or web-business owners.

But the MAJORITY of these "solo ad providers," don't even bother to talk about their "niche" at all....

It even appears that safe-swaps.com has now eliminated the "search by niche" feature as well...??

So where would I go to find a "targeted niche" to market to?

WF Classifieds?

I guess i'm confused that someone would not talk about their list niche. But it appears that 90% of Solo Ads are designed for the "work at home" or "get rich quick" or "weightloss" crowd. And so, it appears that each solo list is sent to a more "baseline demographic..." ? e.g. are Solo Ads primarily seem designed for the "Infomercial" or "As Seen on TV" demographic?

Thanks for your help!

Since you're looking for those kinds of people, I would suspect that searching within Warrior Forum for providers would give you some good leads. Another way might be to widen the search and look for people in that field. Get on a few email lists and see if they seem to be targeting the folks you're interested in. If so, write to them and ask if you could pay them for an email to their list. Instead of calling it solo ad, approach it as a mailing you pay for. You might find a number of folks who do not send such mailings in general... who would like your money and say yes. That audience would tend to have received less of that kind of mailings and perhaps be more responsive to the email about you.

The place I bought my solo ads is from Udimi. In Udimi, you can see what is the niche the solo ads providers are in

That's because 90% of the solo ads are a scam.

I wrote a post about how I think it works. You can find it in the email marketing thread.

Im going to continue to do some more research to get to the bottom of this elaborate scheme.

It's not dven that elaborate when you think about it.

Someone orders 100clicks from you for $100

Go to a place like Fiverr.com and buy clicks and leads for about $25

    You made way with $75.

It's a smoke and mirror show.

    Solo Ads are not scam.

In fact, they exist BEFORE fiverr itself.

Ok, there are lot of scammers, in every branches and niches.

If you want SOLO ADS by NICHE

    Go to:

    Udimi.com
    Clickonomy.com

These are the most reliable one, with testimonials and third party verification in the udimi case.

    Clickonomy has also swaps

      Lol.

Do not go to those places.

You'll blow through money faster than you can make it.

I just wrote an entire post about the smoke and mirrors scam going on with Solo Ads.

Yes there are "reviews" but they don't mean anything.

I mention all of this in my other post.

Don't spend on these scammy people.

You will do nothing but lose money. Don't even think about it. If you do feel so generous, I'll take the money off your hands.

That's basically all you're doing. I'm going to release a review in the next few days from a so-called "reputable and trusted solo ad provider"

They are not going to like my review.

It's always best to generate your own leads. Solo ads may be good to generate clicks etc but the leads are recycled and hit with offers daily. make your own opt-ins, split test and grow your list that way.

That's how I grew my list...

Yes many people do and I've contacted many Of them In my research.

I'm subscribed to the email list and I see the solo ads every week.

Some vendors have been advertising with them for years and love it.

Others it was a one time thing.

I'm looking into ArcaMax as well and doing the same thing.

      It's hard work.

Selfgrowth has one mass list containing their niches over 200,000 subscribers.

      Where ArcaMax has separate lists.

You can go to ArcaMax and see the niches and subscribe to those specific newsletters to see the ads that run.

There was another called DEMC, but there's been very little activity on there for a while. I think that traffic is mainly marketers going there to research the site. That's what I gathered from the analytics.

Depending on your niche you can find big vendors but they're more expensive.

I'll be posting more places when I find them.

Facebook Ads might be the best place for reaching the audience you're after. Solo ads would NOT convert well for what you need.
