Are bulk mailers or safe lists relevent anymore?

I have tried blast4traffic and list volta and a few others, but they just seem like some pure grade A crap. Are they all a scam? I'm just getting started, i cant afford mega email campaigns what can I do? Are there reputable email lists out there? Udimi? Recommendations are helpful,.

    Safelists can be effective if used correctly. This means you will need to join 30 to 50 safelists and click for credits as well as send mailings daily. If done correctly you can easily add 100+ subscribers to your list on a monthly basis.

    But, you have to do it correctly. here are a few pointers.

    1. make your opt-in form very simple. Headline, maybe a sub-headline, and input box for email address. make sure it is single opt-in.

    2. do not overload your email with links 2 or three lines is all you need. nobody is reading your email, they are looking for the "click for credits" link that will open your opt-in page, or whatever page you are promoting.

    3 Safelists will only work in the MMO/Internet Marketing niches.
