Mailchimp - segmenting lists

Hi there I'm new to the forum - hope everyone is well.

I have got stuck in Mailchimp while trying to separate my contact list into different segements.

I selected my list = Singing Clients
I selected Create A Segment
I chose Email Marketing Status: Subscribed
and a Group that I had created called Potential Clients, and 'any of' for different ways of them having become a potential client, i.e. Phone consult, Website, Meeting in person

When I click on Preview Segment it just comes up with Goose Egg - no contacts match these conditions.

I have tried this several times and can't figure out where I've gone wrong - I suspect I missed out a simple step but cannot see it.

Can anyone help please?

    Try and try again is the only way with MailChimp. If you're new I think they give support for the first 10 days. After that, nada! You'll have to upgrade to get support. Which their support is great. It's worth it for only $10 a month. Also, you can buy credits, even cheaper if you have a small list or just getting started. This also gives you access to their support.

      Thanks Daniel I will try and try again :-)
      I'll also check out the payment options - looks like it's time to upgrade.
