What is going on with GetResponse? Please help!

So today I logged into by GetResponse account and found this message:

"You can't add any more contacts to your account at this time."

Apparently they shut down all of my email optin forms without even emailing me about it... all while having ads running, and me wasting money.

The really odd thing is that I barely email my list - once a week at most. They opt in from paid ads, and my blog, and there isn't anything risky that I have put into the mix. It's not even a marketing list - it's a spirituality list!

I emailed them but have not heard a response, not sure they are even open on weekends.

Has this ever happened to anyone before?

It sucks that they can just shut you down without even having the decency to email you about it.

Any feedback would be welcomed.

Thanks in advanced.

would help if you added the entire email and not just one line.

With that said, there is probably a violation of their terms of service, or at least they think there is.

Sorry but you will probably have to keep trying to contact them

Any chance you may have reached your subscriber limit? You may need to upgrade your account. I don't know if they give any kind of warning when you reach your current limit.

    Aceofshirts was partly right...

I have been hitting my limit over a year, nothing new, and they've always charged me the difference - much like AWS that charges you more as you scale.

What is different now is that out of nowhere this message pops up on my dashboard... no email, no warning, nothing.

I got an email saying that no email optins were denied, just queued. I'm trying to upgrade now but there seems to be an extra change to upgraded to the correct limit - and not sure if this extra charge is just a one time thing or they expect me to pay for it every month.

To be quite honest... their system is quite buggy. Just like when I tried to exchange credit cards a while back - that was another issue that required alot of back and forth.

I hope they get to fix alot of these bugs, and/or way of doing things.

Anyways, thanks for all the responses!
