How do I increase opt in rates for my FB ads?

Around 5,000 people reached my post (according to FB) I had 1.4k liked my post during the ad campaign but absolutely 0 opt ins.

How do I increase my Opt in rate. 0% opt ins is just bad.

    no i dont use click funnel ads...I just want people optin to my list...then I'll do the sales stuff ads etc...from my email campaigns...i wonder where is the reply from one guy? was it deleted?

    This depends on where the problem is, are they actually getting to your opt in page? If so what happens when they get there, do you ask for to much information? All you need is the email. What do they get if they opt in to your list? If nothing i would make a pdf about your niche and offer that up for free people would be more likely to opt in.
    On another note, have you actually tested the button on your ad? I.E. Made sure it links to your opt in page, have you put the url in the right place? Hope this helps.

      yes I tested opting in using my own email...
      it's a double opt in because my provider is mail chimp...

      i place the url just right...and made sure it is not cut in the "read more" and yes it links to my squeeze page

        Are you targeting the right people i know that sounds stupid but have you left your audience too broad? I know you say 1.4k likes but that to me screams something doesn't make sense. Out of 1.4k even if you only converted 1% that would make more sense. What is your niche if you don't mind me asking because some niches can be really hard to get into like " make money online" everyone sees that and they may like it but are not gonna opt in because there are literally hundreds of thousands of people trying to do this and most people think it's a scam.

          i am in the video editing niche and people with interest in video editing is my target audience...my target countries are India and US

            on your facebook ad you should be able to look at the information they gathered while the ad was running. It might be worth having a look there to see where you are getting the most hits on your ad and what age range and try to zone in on them particular sets of people. Try it for a few days if that fails try simplifying your ad ( you probably have im just chucking ideas around) or change the image/video in the ad. Try a couple of different things let them run a few days keep your budget really small like a couple of dollars and see which one get's results. hope this helps

    Hi Robin, you should checkout Miles Beckler on YouTube. He has alot of free killer videos available to help you with exactly that.

    Just type ''miles beckler Facebook ads'' in YouTube and you'll find him right away.

      I watched some of his Facebook Ads videos. they're useful but hasn't really helped in adding conversions. I'm currently doing a facebook campaign right now. So far no opt ins still...
