Reducing the volume of emails being sent at the same time

Hello,

I have been having trouble with emails going into the junk folder. I am currently using Aweber to send emails from. I sent an email to a list of 8 people with my email address included, this goes into my inbox. I then sent the same email to my 8,000 subscribers, which I have the same email in this list which goes into my junk box. I have asked Aweber about this and they cant seem to give me an answer. Do you think it would make a different if I split my list? If so how many would be a good number? Thanks.

Your content in your emails is likely what is getting you blocked.
Focus on making better, less spammy content and you should be hitting the inbox

First tell me how is your email list made. Is it organically grown or you just bought it from somewhere?

It was grown organically, all the people on the list have asked to be there.

The emails we have sent out don't always include offers, even if we do a newsletter type email they go into junk. I make sure we don't include any spammy related words.

  • It is totally normal. But why don't you ask directly someone at AWeber, since you are a paid customer? There are a lot of variables in email deliverability and asking a forum won't give you much, I'm afraid. If you ask them then you can contact me and discuss it further.

I have tried asking Aweber, when I suggest doing something they just agree and say its worth a try. They cant seem to give an answer on anything. They looked at the contents of the emails and said there is nothing wrong with that and said emails should not be going into the junk folder.
