The Best Email Marketing Services (Gambling Sector)

Hi there,

I've been in betting sector for over 10 years already and I've collected a really nice base of subscribers via my landing pages.
I would like to advertise some of my products (mainly betting picks) but these days most providers don't accept gambling content.

I wonder if somebody can recommend some really good services for bulk mailing in this sector. I've tried Sparkpost, Elasticemail but received ban (no gambling) with Sendgrid was fine but very bad delivery (in yahoo deferred messages/ gmail always spam).

Thanks for you opinions.

regards !

You are going to have to go to a self hosted solution for this.

First off, most ESP providers do not allow gambling content, ever.

Secondly, if you find one that does allow gambling content, your going to find their delivery is going to be very bad.

Self hosted solutions are the only way to go here.

    http://sendgrid.com allows gambling

I have actually contacted them in the past and confirmed it.

I would contact support to make sure nothing has changed. However, they have pretty much always been good about not trying to suppress customers mailings as long as it is legal.

Wow... 10 years of betting? You are genius bro...

Back to the question, you need to go self-host... Gmail will kill everything related to betting

Their sales copy look over promising.

They don't mention anything about warmed ip and not clear about the inboxing quality, seems its a service to send emails without the hassle of setting up a VPS by your self.

How is their inboxing rate? Do they provide dedicated IP warmed up? do they provide warm up service?

All these services are BS designed to take advantage of inexperienced mailers that want to send mass email..

Everything they provide is hacked software, Interspire, PowerMTA, etc...

A single IP isn't going to do jack.

Anyone can send volume, but it's another thing to inbox.

You need quality data to warm up the IPs.

I could go on and on.

I think aweber and mailchimp and all may not allow sending gambling emails using their platform. So you should consider self-hosted emailing platform on dedicated or VPS servers. Use multiple IPs with mailwizz or interspire like email application. PowerMTA for IP rotation and other dns setups like spf, dkim, rdns, dmarc etc... That is the best option for emailing for gambling. I have setup such servers for many of my client for same purpose.

  • I'd advise trying Sender.net. It has great deliverability, affordability and user friendliness.

Beware, if you are using purchased lists, do affiliate marketing or engage in any illicit practices, the account will not be confirmed. To protect the IP reputation, Sender.net has a strict account confirmation policy.

You need to have a very clean email list or opt in list if you want any ESP to tolerate gambling. Usually gambling emails have higher spam score and mostly keywords used in those offers are high spam triggers. That is why most ISPs avoid them. However, if you can demonstrate that your list is clean and it is targeted then you will never come under the radar of these ISPs.

Also, a self hosted solution can be an option too as long as you have a mechanism of blacklist removal in place

Sendgrid was fine but very bad delivery (in yahoo deferred messages/ gmail always spam).
Have you considered an email validator that will pull the spam traps and hard bounces out of your list? I always recommend that marketers validate their subscriber lists before emailing to maintain good sender score. If your sender score is really good and you have a good relationship with domains, then you should be safe to mail regardless of industry.

I know this is an old thread but this is extremely easy to figure out.

All you have to do is subscribe for an email list from whoever has the most popular betting site/s right now. Sign up for the top 3 betting sites that each have their own email list, that should give you multiple options.

After you subscribe the competition email list then scroll down to the bottom of the emails they send you, odds are there's going to be some type of text or link from the email host.

If there's no text or link at the bottom of the email, try cancelling the email subscription via a link inside the email, sometimes that will lead you to an email host site or look for a reference text/link at the bottom of the unsubscribe host page... or look at the URL of the unsubscribe page for the email host name.

There's usually a footprint somewhere for each email host, you'll just have to look around for it.

I know this is an old post, but online gambling is growing at a rapid rate today and email marketing is absolutely effective in its promotion. A good email bulk email service that supports the gambling industry is Hotsol Email Marketing.
