Udimi or Clickonomy for Solo Ads?

The title is self explanatory.

If you buy enough solo from the two marketplace...what is the best in your opinion?

Udimi is well known, ad has a lot of sellers, tracking system etc.

Clickonomy is more recent but they ask more info to the seller, to abide some US rules etc.

What is the best in your opinion?

Honestly, I buy loads of solo ads but I don't buy from any solo "marketplaces" like the ones you mentioned. For the most part, I've found that because of the incredibly high volume of solo ads that get sold on those sites, the leads are not the greatest.

I find all of my top sellers in three places:

    1. Facebook groups
    2. Skype rooms
    3. WF classifieds section

I've got around 50-75 sellers that I use consistently, and have fantastic luck with them. As far as I know, none of them sell out of solo marketplaces.

Furthermore‚Äč, I want to make it clear that solo ads pretty much only work if you are in the "make money online/biz opp" niche.

On top of that, you need to have the right kind of funnel, which most people who have tried and failed with solo ads don't.

People seem to think that solo ads are an easy form of paid traffic to master. Well, let me tell you, that's not true at all.

If you don't know what you're doing, or you get just one component wrong, you will get burned bad.

  • I had experience with both the place Udimi and Clickonomy
I like Clickonomy, the quality of clicks and Optin is good.
Udimi is not bad it is good if you purchased the click form the right people.

    i would be careful.

UDIMI is good to test small some crap leads there... but most are ok.

The best ones on UDIMI are list vendors who add buyers to their list constantly.
    yes they do exist! :-)

What exactly do you mean with list vendors?

Best one's for solo ads are people who actually deliver email traffic NOT the ones who sell their lists.

Talking about me, I've started ordering traffic from Fiver gigs, which was quite a bad idea. Junk traffic everywhere. I have also tried Clickonomy, but I found it inconvenient (just my opinion).

Now I use Udimi for finding sellers and deals because they have a filter which allows me not to overpay.
      Word!!

You got to buy small chunks of clicks and test traffic from each vendor, track and tweak until you scale it up.

Same here but the best vendors are still the ones i find on FB groups and Skype rooms.

it is best to try them and know which is suitable for your business. You can get a very good bargain from FB groups

  • Udimi focuses more on MMO while clickonomy has so many categories to choose from, like personal development and more.... so it depends on what you're promoting.

    Hi John,

Udimi is one of the oldest and most sort-after sources of solo ads traffic. You can find some of the best vendors in the business there whereas Clickonomy is not among the popular source of traffic these days.

Well, people are more into udimi, SoloAdsX & facebook groups as their trusted source of traffic so I would suggest you to bet your money on these platforms.

  • Just if talking about Udimi, I chose them because they have already refunded me twice my solo deals due some sellers were scammers. So for me, it is the safest place with guarantees.

  • I would like to say that Udimi has no competitors. It has too big seller base and to many people buy solo ads from there. And yes, as it was said in comment above, it is quite safe for making business.

Recently I found that Udimi is pretty more reliable.

  • As has been mentioned a couple of times previously, I think FB Groups have taken over as THE place to go to find decent solo ad suppliers.

A top tip I have always found works is to focus on sales and not just conversions. (Just search for 'Sales' within the testimonial groups).

So Udimi will be the better choice.

Does anyone know why clickonomy is closed?
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[11448885].message }}
  • Udimi is best for discounts and the owner will write the emails for you if you don't know how to write a good copy. While clickonomy is too pricey a bit but they have discounts too if you buy a lot of clicks and you are the one to write your own copy.

I feel it does not matter if it is from udimi or clickonomy or buy direct. The most important thing is that the seller must explain or provide evidence of list building.

Usually, it is best to see see if he has a website with good content to collect leads. Even if he is using paid traffic sources, there must be some sort of a landing page or product.I find this to be most useful in detecting high quality
solo ads leads and hence sales.

Of course testimonials helps, which in this case clickonomy displays it very well. But the problem is with the high fees that clickonomy charges(20%), it gets increasingly difficult to sell quality clicks at a reasonable price.

I think Udimi is pretty cool even though i've had my fair share of bad experiences there of course. Still, facebook groups are fine too, and since you don't have to go through a "middle man", you're more free to negociate i think

I think Udimi is the best solo ad network where you can purchase quality solo ads from providers, see reviews and amount of sales other people are getting when purchasing a solo ad. These features will allow everyone to know what they are buying and makes it easier for you to avoid bad solo ad providers.

I like Udimi and Soloadx. It is good to see as many reviews as you can. See if he or she has reviews in Facebook groups. Look for people who have repeat business and people reporting sales. These are obvious but many people just grab a price they like and shoot in the dark. Make sure you increase the odds in your favor by seeing if they are reliable or fake. Udimi has a filter where you can choose to only look at people with a certain percentage of good ratings and only a certain percentage who reported sales. This at least increases your chances of a win.

Its is not about site - it is about finding good personal relationships with real solo ad vendor.
On UDIMI you can not even ask vendors real facebook page to talk to him - this is not good.
Just go to Facebook solo ads groups for testimonials and than try to talk to real person.

      True that.

The last solo ad i bought, went fine, (nothing spectacular) but i did have a really nice exchange with the seller. It was important to let him know what i was offering, so that he knew which angle use to promote.

So i had fun for once

I buy lots of solo ads from Udimi and I am happy with it.

However, the best solo ads seem to be individual sellers not selling in market places. Facebook groups is a great place to find these people, or you can just search for "solo ads + my niche" and see what comes up.

The key is to start small and test. You never really know who will produce the best ROI until you test it. Just my thoughts.

Well no-one will have heard my name before now in the Solo world, but I've bought solo ads since the 90's.. way before Udimi was even a brain child. A bit like "Nicheblogger75".

I can honestly say I have accounts with both Udimi and Clickonomy and barely used them, that is NOT to say the vendors are bad, im sure there are good ones that will deliver results.

I personally use about 10-12 Solo Ad vendors which are reputable, not one of them feature on Udimi or Clickonomy and I often get 50, 60 and even 70% opt-in rates.

I really don't want my list diluted with POTENTIAL junk/safeswap/oversold/bored traffic but I appreciate as a beginner, you will naturally draw to these marektplaces as they both offer great user & vendor protection and with the number of scams out there, that's a good thing.

It's a funny world, Udimi suggest that 9/10 solo ads NOT on their network are scams. But that's not true, I deal with 10-12 who arent! Neither Clickonomy or Udimi have an API and for us techhies, that's a MUST have when handling software & apps by the dozen.

I hope that helps your decision!?
