Should my drip stop once a lead registers?

I have a new site, SMS From Me, which allows people to register for a free e-Book. At the same time, I put them on an email drip which ask them to register an account with us.

Since the emails are attempting to close the sale, I would imagine that they should stop the moment the user decide (finally!?) to register an account.

What do you do on your end? Leave the drip going? Change it to another drip to up sale?

Once the action takes place then you can have a rule in your autoresponder which automatically moves them to a new list which you can use to upsell your other products, provide updates, or promote affiliate products.

Whichever platform you are using will have tutorials on how to do this

    I agree with Al.

Once a user takes the front end action the next step is to get them to take the next logical step in the funnel.

In your case Alexis it could be an upsell to a different more expensive offer (like doing it for them or templates for sms marketing)

Just some ideas to get the gears turning.
